A truly appalling store one that cannot even keep it’s customers data safe by using out sourced companies. I will never use you again as I have no trust in your ability of keeping my data safe.

Hugo Boss Amsterdam- horrible service
Recently the quality of the customer care in the shop leaves much to he desired (online service is fortunately still good).
Hugo Boss Department in Amsterdam- horrible unprofessional service, I bought pants Artikel 930703411800000 for my husband on 17 August, paid 149. 95 euros in cash. On 21 August I brought them for return. The shop assistant was murmuring something ,then he gave me some receipt which I could exchange for some other item . I asked him what are you talking about he still was murmuring something under his nose (although I perfectly understand both Dutch and English) , still I couldn't make anything with the way he was talking. So, I asked the other guy standing next to him (in English) what is he talking about?
The other guy started then a fairytale - about me buying the item with "gift card" and not with my own money, that's why I could not get the money back. After I was extremely unhappy with them, they seem to finally open their eyes and checked my receipt again and said "OK, we can change it for you then" as if they making me a favour still. I was and still am simply disgusted , I doubt that we are going to shop there again.

This is one of the largest shops in the Netherlands. They have local and international brands. I like that while shopping you can take a coffee break. They have great cakes.

Fantastic service
I usually don't write any reviews but am surprisingly satisfied with the customer service.
I had a question on an existing voucher and Ibrahim could assist me in the best possible way. Thank you very much Ibrahim for the clear and very professional help you could provide me with!
It's so nice to hear that The Bijenkorf has such a dynamic and efficient staff. Great!

never again
Uninviting, supposedly exclusive shop. There is nothing special about it. Yes, there are some luxury brands under the same roof, but it doesn't matter if your are not helped! No single employee on sight and if you find one, they don't know anything and they are just plain rude. Most importantly, there are much less products, nothing compared to the brands' actual stores. I was searching for a coctail dress and almost no option. If you go to the real store of Ted Baker or PhaseEight, there is a bigger chance that you will actually get help from an assistant and you will find better options. Never again, waste of time. Also, good luck with the catering section and mice there.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I have a return pending from 7 June. They have no idea what they are doing, and keep apologizing instead of fixing the problem. It's an amount of 25 euros and they keep you hanging. Premium service is something so far from the truth. They don't know how to keep their customers happy...
So sad that this place claims you can be a member so they screw you over. Appalling! Just read all the other reviews...you'll see what I mean. Do not shop here. do not go there! They stand all day talking to each other in the shops and ignore you.
Pitty it has to come so far that people have to leave a review if they would have fixed the problem prior than I think the reviews would have been a lot more positive.

Normally very satisfied with Bijenkorf
Normally very satisfied with Bijenkorf, however currently in a repair request with their Service Department, resulting in very poor performance.
Clear product issue, first offered a 20% refund, and later they mention a 'new' warranty period and a zero refund.
Normally perfect service, but if you have any issue....don't bother.

Petra was amazing!
I was looking for a perfume and the customer service representative, Petra, was incredibly helpful.
She was patient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. She recommended various scents and provided information about the notes and the elements of the fragrances.
Thank you for an excellent customer service experience!

I’ve ordered online from Bijenkorf…
I’ve ordered online from Bijenkorf multiple times. Orders are always delivered the next day even when order was placed late on Sunday afternoon at 17:30. I am also a fan of the assortment of brands they offer and the quality of products. Bijenkorf is the shop for me and I will keep ordering.

Better buy somewhere else.
Reply: The thing is, I don’t get any information on why the package is being investigated, was the package lost? Was it damaged? Which I highly doubt since it was returned the same day and prolly 30-45 minutes since it was picked up from the pick up point. The ring does not fit the finger it was intended to be worn, it was not worn long only to be fitted, so wear and tear and scratches is highly unlikely. I need to be informed on the status of the order and not be kept in the dark for almost 2-3 weeks. The customer service just kept on saying that it’s being investigated and I will be informed via email but how long should I wait? Yesterday, I messaged (4th time), I was told I need to wait 2 weeks from the my first complaint, that has passed, and still nothing.
—————————————————————
Returned a Cartier Trinity Ring on the same day the package was picked up from the pick up point due to size issues, I bought a second one but also returned due to the fitting as well, the second package was clear for refund but the first one, not and when I asked, they kept on saying that it was being investigated but I’m being kept in the dark on why it was being investigated! They could not answer whether the package was missing or was it damage or what. Just that I’m yet to be refunded due to some investigation they could not say what! I messaged 4 times already and the only thing they could say was be patient and it was being investigated and I will be informed via email but they could not say the reason for investigation. I’ve been waiting for more than 2-3 weeks now. This is very frustrating.

The customer service is absolutely…
The customer service is absolutely despicable. They send you from A to B and back to A and then to C just to be referred back to A. Apart from that they do NOT SOLVE the problem at hand. I ordered a package of spiral candles 3 times on the bijenkorf. The 1st time all candles came broken, the second and third time they just didn’t arrive at all. The first time they refunded it and told me to just reorder it if I wanted to receive the package. However the 3rd order that was also NOT DELIVERED has not been refunded whatsoever. This ‘customer service’ ,if you can even call it that, just tells me that as the track and trace states it has arrived it must be so. Again, I DID NOT RECEIVE MY PACKAGE. Shame on you, you’re a shame of a company and I will be taking further steps. No wonder you have such an awful rating..

Deceiving sale discounts - de Bijenkorf lowers the price of products once sold out.
One Versace t-shirt got sold out at 50%. The website now shows the product is 80% off. There were no restocks. A t-shirt sold out at 245 euro - now listed for 99 euro.
1* for poor morals and deceiving customers.

De Bijenkorf violates mandatory customer provisions
Update: you know exactly what I am referring to, as I have made clear that I do not refer to damage due to abnormal "wear and tear". Saying that as human beings, you occasionally make mistakes is just an invalid excuse, as on multiple occasions, The Bijenkorf does not comply with its obligation to pay refunds for faulty products, unless a lawyer demands The Bijenkorf to do so. Either way, I will never purchase anything from the Bijenkorf.com and will strongly recommend others to avoid your faulty service.
e Bijenkorf.com/ Bijenkorf.nl
I am a lawyer specialized in customer law, so take this to heart. Having been a Bijenkorf Member for more than 10 years, I will never purchase anything from De Bijenkorf again. De Bijenkorf.nl violates mandatory customer provisions. As a retailer, De Bijenkorf is reponsible for providing customers with refunds for defective products purchased from De Bijenkorf. De Bijenkorf exceeds the legal deadline applicable to refunds. De Bijenkorf invokes unjustified grounds for violating its obligation to pay refunds. This kind of illegal behavior is not compatible with its desired reputation of becoming a "luxury department store".
@ Anneke from Team Webcare, your statements are false. De Bijenkorf is under an obligation to provide products that comply with the purchase agreement. If a garment becomes defective within 6 months after the conclusion of the purchase agreement, the product must be considered faulty. "Warranty provisions" or "Service provisions" are not of relevance with regards to the obligation of De Bijenkorf.com to pay a refund for products that turn out to be faulty within (at least) the first 6 months.

Doesn't refund price difference!
A couple of days ago, I bought a sweatshirt from Balenciaga with 50% off for the price of 425 euro. Today the discount went from 50% to 70%, and the new price is 255 euro. Contacted the customer service to ask for a refund for the price difference, but told NO! The only way I can do is to return the product and then to order it again, but the size I need is already sold out. So basically I can't do anything with it and lose 170 euro difference...UNBELIEVABLE!!! So many shops can refund price difference and such a big shop like de Bijenkorf can not...

I do not recommemd
The worst oneline store. I made an order for a vacuum cleaner and waited a few days for a product that was canceled on the day of delivery. Very incompetent. I do not recommend!

Misleading advertisement, disappointed with customer service
EDIT: Think twice before ordering any expensive products from their webshop, you might end up dealing with the consequences of their mistakes, since their customer service does not seem to care much for the customer in my experience. Save yourself the time and the hassle of having to worry about this stuff.
A month ago I ordered a dyson vacuum from their webshop. We were very pleased to have found this product, since it had all the attachments we were looking for! Unfortunately, when the product arrived we were missing a few of the attachments they had advertised in the product description. I contacted customer service about it and they said they would look into it. After a week without any reaction, I contacted them again. They told me they would have an answer by the end of the week. Meanwhile I am sitting here with an unpacked vaccum I can't use in a dusty house. Not very fun when you're dealing with allergies. You can already guess what happened: by the end of the week I still had no answer. I called in the next week (again), and was told they had contacted dyson to see if they could get the missing parts.
Then, some days later I get an email saying the description of the product I had bought was wrong on their website, and therefore there was nothing actually wrong with the product itself - wait what?!?! So I did not get what was advertised to me, but somehow I should be ok with that? Obviously I called them again, trying the argue it was quite misleading because from my point of view I bought something believing the description thereof to be accurate. The on-call staff told me there was not much they could do.
She tried to argue that the attachments we're missing are incompatible with the vaccum I received, so it would not make sense to order them. But a quick search on the dyson site revealed that to be untrue. And then she also kept insisting on the fact it was a small mistake on their part, and said that the product information pertained another dyson vaccum. Which to me seems to indicate I have received the wrong product. I ask her about this, and she tells me she will get someone to look into it again. Today I get another email that looks exactly like the first one they send me.
So now I'm left sitting here with either the wrong product or an incomplete product. And still no decent answer from them.
UPDATE: I've contacted them via whatsapp and guess what? They send me the EXACT same message they had emailed TWICE before. Still no answer to my question, no apologies and no steps to adress THEIR mistakes and how it has affected me. As a consumer, I've always been able to discuss issues with sellers. This is the first time I felt completely disregarded AND LED ON FOR ALMOST A MONTH. I am appalled, will never order from this store again. And most certainly advise others against it. Plenty of other sellers with similar products and more regard for their customers.
