Frankenstein of tables
A mistake was made with our table, we asked for a straight edge, arrived wavy. It took 2 months to get the correct table, which means we waited 6 months, a pretty long time to wait in my opinion. Instead of getting a totally new top, it looks like the cut the wavy edge of and glued on a straight edge. I don't think that is a really good way of selling your brand. The Frankenstein of tables.
On the positive side the guys that install the table did a really great job.

Good collection in store but we got a bad piece of furniture.
I visited the Almere store and was given excellent service by Robijn. The collection in the store is fantastic with a good variety of furniture. We were very happy when we ordered our dining table and TV dresser.
However, when the dining table arrived it was very different from the piece shown in the store. We raised a complaint but were told that since we chose 'Mango wood' dining table there will be a difference in quality.
We believe that the piece delivered was not finished properly as it feels half-done. But, no one cooperated with our complaint. We expect better after sales service from the store.

There’s something for everyone
Buying furniture at De Bommel was indeed a good experience. Very good products and variety, I even remember going there several times for different furniture. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They guide you through every step of the process (even-post delivery - how to take care of your furniture, etc).
We bought the couch and dining chairs and the quality was the same as we saw in the showroom.
Thank you De Bommel for this experience, the planning was perfect!

Recommended is to stay away from de Bommel and shop somewhere else.
1. Kindly check the items you purchased and understand it, once paid and if there is any discrepancy then the De Bommel will blame you only for the wrong order.
2. You may get different colors for items you ordered... nothing can be done here. Wait for 4 months and then get wrong color item. Complain about it and then wait for 4 more months....
3. There is not good customer service and complain escalation process with the de Bommel so if any differences/complaints then you have to live with that... no resolution.
4. Very arrogant staff, customer service ... get ready for getting insulted, blamed.
Recommended is to stay away from de Bommel and shop somewhere else.
