Poor quality
I bought a pair of Boots at the end of October and the soul has split and the heel as worn right down. This is a third part of shoes I've bought now in a row that this is happened.(Crawley). I've always bought my shoes from here since they've opened. I've liked the layout of your shops, the friendly staff & the styles you offer.but there's no point buying from you now if the quality isn't there

Good service and comfortable boots,
Recently purchased a pair of leather boots from the Taunton store, the staff were very friendly and the price was good. Unfortunately when I wore the boots, after a few hours I noticed one of the boots had a fault with the leather. I took the boots back to the store, I was offered a refund or exchange. I chose to have an exchange, I had a choice to have the boots delivered to my home address or to the store, I chose to have the delivery to the store. Within 3 working days the boots were ready for collection, I hope these boots will be ok as they are so comfortable, I am normally a size 8, but the size 7 is fine,

I'm really sorry for those who got Bad experience with deichm.. I'm totally satisfied with them as it's difficult for Me to find shoes (9 for a woman). They have many choices and prices are more than correct (i live in France and here if you don't have 100euros or more, you Can forget the quality for your shoes).

Je suis vraiment désolée pour ceux qui ont une expérience regrettable avec deichm. Pour moi qui chausse 43/44 je suis vraiment contente d'avoir pu chez eux trouver chaussure à mon pied, quand on sait que les prix ne sont pas donnés en France pour les grandes pointures pour ceux qui veulent de la qualité.

Awful quality waste of money
Brought 2 pairs of school shoes in September both have literally fallen apart see pictures terrible quality now need to replace after only 3 months complete waste of money the boys pair soles literally fallen apart and now unwearable , girls older pair the Pantene coating has completely Come off half the shoe .

Awful experience
Awful experience! Returned an item over a week ago, no email to confirm and no refund either. They don’t even answer the telephone!! How do you get your money back?!!
Order Returned No Refund Or Acknowledgement Received - UPDATE
I ordered a pair of shoes through a store as they could not offer in my size. 6 days later the wrong size was delivered.
the shoes were returned by courier on the 25th November.
Two weeks have since passed and I have not yet received any confirmation of return from Deichmann, nor have they credited back the cost of the shoes.
I have phoned their " Customer care Help-line" 26 times over a period of 4 days, I can only conclude that this is unmanned and no opportunity is afforded to leave a message.
So i have emailed the "customer care" email address and received no response.
I then found this site and also copied my email to Nichola as noted in previous responses, that was on 5th December STILL NO RESPONSE
This treatment of customers is contemptible if they did not have high street shops I would view this behaviour to be representative of a company of scammers!!!

Yes, I received your email and confirmation that you had possession of the returned goods. However I am still awaiting a refund.
I would also ask that you clarify whether or not your customer care lines are maned at all. As i found it impossible to make contact over a period of 4 days, 26nr calls made at random times.

Very prompt dispatch and delivery from Deichmann, cannot fault them there - that’s good thing
They ship with Hermes – personally not very happy about it but got the parcel so…
Then had issues with return and customer service, however it was resolved in the end but it took much longer than it should and they left me frustrated. But in the end they were helpful to sort it and apologised for delays.
I hope you will improve response time to your customers and next time I shop with you I will be able to give you 5 stars. Thanks Nicola for sorting it out.

Appalling company. Contemptible staff.
I have had to leave one star, as the system does not let me leave no stars. Utterly appalling treatment by staff in the Arndale Centre in Manchester. Complaint dismissed by patronising and offensive store manager and nameless (and gutless) regional manager. E-mails have gone unanswered for weeks. Customer service is so laughably-named that it is non-existent. Utterly disgraceful company.

If I could I wouldn’t even rate a 1 for service it would be zero! I’ve been paid for express delivery and it’s almost a week and I haven’t received my order nor are there any updates on the delivery status! You don’t answer the customer line and you don’t respond to emails or the website feedback form. I want to cancel my order and I want my money back immediately. Your service is terrible and your customer account page is useless!

Miss ATTITUDE at your watford branch
I usually shop at your westfield branch but today I was in watford and shopped at your store in the intu shopping centre and what a mistake that was I picked the shoes I wanted went to the till to pay where there were 2 shop assistants one was a man the other a woman the man was serving another customer and I was the only other customer waiting I have a disability and cannot stand for long periods usually if there are queues my partner or my mum will queue up for me but today there was no one else waiting to be served the so called woman shop assistant was standing behind a till with her arms folded and chatting to the customer who the man shop assistant was dealing with .
I had to say to the so called woman shop assistant can i pay for these shoes she replied yes no apology for leaving me standing there? I then said does it take 2 people to serve 1 customer she just gave me a dirty look I said to her you should not be serving customers you have a serious attitude problem.to which she replied I shouldn't serve you ? I said well don't get someone else she replied it's to late now,I said where is your manager she said on a break I replied that's convenient to which replied with a smirk on her face yes God works in mysterious ways, I said I will wait for your manager she said in a raised voice you do that she was an extremely rude person that has no place working in retail there are plenty of unemployed people around that would jump at the chance to work so maybe deichmann should look more closely at the staff they employed I did manage to speak to the supervisor and the manager who were both apologetic but I really hope the assistant was given a talking to as she seriously needs to learn some customer service skills I did not get her name unfortunately but miss attitude would suit her but I have her user number from my receipt which is 171382 I will never go into your watford branch again.

This is the worst online purchase experience ever!!!! It is a month now since I make an order and I still didn't get it. They replyed once to my message, that they having technical problems and my item will be deliverey within next 5 working days. Two weeks later still no item and no information!!!! Luckily I payed by PayPal so they're already on it. Save your self a ton of stress and stay away!!!!

So i bought a pair of boots which i was really excited about. All went well. They arrived and all was good. Except then after the third wear, the plastic bit at the end of the shoe lace came off and there was no way i could get it back on. Fair enough, these things happen...but...
Then i went to their store thinking i could just get new laces. I was met with 'we do not do the right laces. We can exchange or refund'. This was okay. I liked the boots so was happy to exchange for the same pair. They didn't have them in stock so i had to order them in.
This is where problems arose.
I asked them to be delivered to the shop as i work and delivering to my home is not ideal. They told me they would be in 2-4 working days.
This did not happen.
On day 4 i went into the shop for an update on my delivery. Not only had they had the boots down as being delivered to my house but they had no idea where they were. They staff member was trying to contact his own customer services with absolute fail. He told me he would call me later that day to update. Shock. This did not happen.
Day 5 i went back to their shop and asked for an update. They informed me that they were still at the warehouse and they did not know when they would be delivered. Not ideal at all. So i waited until day 7 and still i heard nothing. I tried calling the customer services number myself until no avail - no answer.
Day 8 i called the shop to really complain. I was met with an apology but still no update. I said i wanted an update on Monday (day 10). I did get a call to be fair, but the boots still were not in store and they still did not know when they would arrive. I was offered a refund (which i took) but it was still frustrating as i has ordered a pair of boots which broke after 3 wears and then a fiasco of a delivery and customer service. I would advise not to shop here. Nothing but trouble.

Ordered online, paid express delivery, received email stating it had left their warehouse, however delivery site is saying waiting for parcel from sender. Still haven't received my order. Can't get through on the the customer service number. Constantly says no1 available.

Customer Service telephone line non existant
Called 'customer service' line every 15 minutes on Friday and the same today. Constantly engaged or told all lines are busy. I do not believe this line is manned. Recorded message gives an email address, but this is not clear and impossible to understand.
Received an online order which is not suitable. Parcel did not contain a returns form for me to return the package. Emailed via their generic contact form to advise of this, but still no reply.
Would not use online again. Appalling customer service.

Products are hit and miss in terms of quality which largely depends on different manufacturers and price points. Shops are always lacking size options as well.
What I can't abide is you providing false information on your newsletter promotion recently. I subscribed to the newsletter and was due to receive a discount code which never arrived. All your emails and newsletters are arriving just fine of course. I decided to unsubscribe because you are not honest but surprise, i am not allowed to. I can guarantee that I did everything right but not allowed to unsubscribe.
Email is personal information regulated by GDPR and I have the right to be removed from your system. Also there must be a functioning option to unsubscribe easily by email. Since both are not in compliance you can get fine and you should be.
Unless I'm treated as a valuable customer I'm talking by shipping elsewhere as a bare minimum.
