Well, I have never experienced service like this, hoped I was unique until I looked at other reviews. I have had weeks of false promises, fairy stories and nonsense. They never call when they say they will, I have to call them each time. My car was supposed to be completed on 12th then 20th, 21st. 26th. 28th and now they say 2nd of December coz it's being polished to make it look all nice for me. I really need my car back and can't understand why it is taking them so long to paint a few scratches out. Apparently they completely strip the car down then have to build it back up. Having read other reviews I am now terrified of what state it will be in when I get it back. Have had a nightmare with them so far, the same lies and excuses week after week after week. Car was sent there by the other parties insurance, wish I'd had some control of it. Now I just want to cry

I brought my company vehicle in on September 30, 2025, for a paintwork quote. My initial experience was good; the assessor was prompt and confirmed that the quote would be submitted through the 1Link system.
This is where the service completely failed.
I spent the next two weeks repeatedly calling for an update, and each time I was given excuses: The person dealing with it wasn't available, "It will be done today/tomorrow," or "We've already sent the quotation" (which was untrue).
On October 16, I contacted our 1Link representative, who confirmed that while a quote was generated on the garage's side, it had never been formally submitted to the system.
When I called the garage back to inform them of this fact, the employee became abrupt and refused to take any further action, stating "we've sent it and that's it." They refused to contact 1Link to check for an issue on their network side. It ultimately took our 1Link representative contacting the garage directly to instruct them to speak to their own network team, confirming the submission failure.
This entire process resulted in a complete waste of two weeks of my time and has significantly delayed necessary repairs to a company asset. The lack of accountability, refusal to investigate an issue on their end, and poor communication are unacceptable.
This poor experience appears to be a systemic issue. Reading other recent reviews confirms that my experience of extensive delays, false promises, and poor staff attitude is a pattern.
Based on this failure to manage a simple quote and the appalling customer service, I absolutely cannot recommend this business for any work.

Dentec, which was recommended in advance by the repairer of my car Audi, did not fulfil its contract. The lady giving me the car back said to check if everything was ok when I got home, I checked and it was not. I called the next day when they were open, they said they would call me back. After a few hours I called again, they did not call me back. After a few days I wrote an e-mail. More than a week has passed and I have not heard from them and the car is not finished.

Car repair going through insurance, they clearly put all of these cases to the back of the list. Told on 2 occasions my car was completed to then we told it wasn’t and that they were waiting on part and car will be ready in 2 days to then phoning asking for an update and saying the part hasn’t been put on car yet! Promised numerous call backs from Lauren and Mark and nothing! Customer service is absolutely shocking! If I could give this company no stars I would have!

I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company. Giving them 1 star is actually being kind. I gave them the benefit of the doubt which was a big mistake. Fobbed me off over a two week period , then after several phone calls with the rude receptionist who more or less invented conversations and then tried to say that I had cancelled the job! I really don't often leave negative feedback...but Dentec.....come on!! treat you customers with respect , increase your communication and keep your customers updated. After my final call with them today ....there is no way I have the slightest bit of faith in this company . Phone call straight to Aviva to let them know that I do not wish my car to go in to this repair shop!!

Damaged vehicle and refused to rectify despite irrefutable photographic evidence.
They took two attempts at warranty work spraying the rear wheel arch on my Mercedes for anti-corrosion warranty claim via Mercedes Glasgow, first time they broke trim clips, misaligned the rear bumper. left flat paint finish and overspray, on this occasion Mercedes rectified these issues however after a few months the rust reappeared and Dentec agreed to redo the work but again broke clips and left overspray, they were to rectify these issues this time round but in doing so scratched the rear window badly. I reported this when they delivered they car and showed a picture I took highlighting overspray days before they collected car vs. another picture days after getting the car back from them of the same area in the same location, with the same lighting using the same camera showing the overspray gone but with scratches all over the window. They claim it wasn’t them despite this evidence.
They also never once called me back despite repeatedly saying they would.

This company has got to be the worst we have ever dealt with . So very unprofessional . 9 weeks our customers car has been with them and lost count how many times we have had to contact them to ask when it will be ready been told so many times a lot of lies starting with “The manger dealing with it all is off the manager is in a meeting the manager has chased up parts but there on back order “ finally spoke to someone last week that sounded like they actually knew what they where talking about when they said we would “100% have the car back today Friday 13th “ and guess what no car after a lengthy call trying to get through to them we get through to Caitlin who put us on hold for 8 mins whilst she finally gets a manager Billy who was a waste of time to deal with just like the rest of the staff in there for a manager who is supposed to restore faith into the customer and listen to what customers are saying instead of saying “I don’t like your tone im going to cut the call short “ he failed miserably at doing this and actually was the problem didn’t like the he was proved wrong and his staff are telling lies to customers that have the misfortune of dealing with them . This company really needs to brush up on their customer relations as they severely lack but after reading some reviews it would appear that we are not the only ones been treated this way . Worst garage.
They had my car 20 weeks.When I called asking for my car nobody could speak with me.Always were busy. During almost 5 months,one time they called back.When I went twice to Dentec they told , that my car will be ready in few days.Of course wasn't. Complete disregard for the customer.I don't understand why AXA use this garage. Dentec is worst garage ever.

Had my car for 11 weeks. Had no courtesy cars available.
Got an email saying my car was ready. Took day off to collect it but was told the email was sent by mistake.
‘Don’t know why it was sent, it happens all the time’ I was told.
Phone calls were never returned but when they suddenly had the car ready I was called at least 6 times in 3 days to collect it.
Not sure about the repair yet but the customer service was poor.

Do not use this company. Read all the real and honest reviews and you’ll see why. My car went in for repairs to the front bumper which was cracked. It needed replaced, and in doing so they broke one of my front side marker lights, the clip to keep it in place was snapped. Rather than them being honest and replacing a light that would cost them £15+, they decided to use glue to keep it in place. Yes you read that right, GLUE! Luckily it had came loose when driving home so I noticed this right away but if the glue had held then I could have potentially went months or years before noticing, it would have also been impossible to remove the light to replace the bulb. I’m absolutely furious as the glue residue is now all over my paintwork. They’ve purposely and permanently damaged my car to cover the damage they caused for the sake of £15+ light cover. NEVER, EVER again would I use this company and I am amazed that a company like NFU insurance uses them. Clearly the NFU don't read any reviews on trustpilot.
