I bought 12 metallic colouring pencils to amplify the standard tin, choosing the additional colours I will use and some spares of my favourites. To be able to order a Tins worth was superb as they travelled in such safe transit and also are now kept in safe conditioning a tin. Despatch was prompt and the packaging was superb. I bought this as part of the 'fill your own' option for pencils. The tin itself is decent enough, one of the nicer pencil tins I've had, albeit of course rather plain, but then, it never suggests it won't be. Being able to fill up a tin with open stock pencils is a great option as many Derwent pencils are a little thicker than average so they don't fit into my usual pencil cases (which have elastic holders for each pencil.)
Great pencils with great colours
Better than buying the 12 pack. Slightly cheaper, chose colours I'll use.
I love that I can select my own colours as standard sets don't always have the shades you want. Brilliant idea and great colours too choose from.

Amazing pencils - many different effects can be achieved and then by brushing or spritzing with water a whole range of different effects emerge. A useful range of ‘earthy’ and natural colours. Having previously selected twelve colours in a handy tin, after using for a while I realised I needed the remaining twelve colours so have another tin. Highly recommended for anyone who loves creating artwork.
This tin is ideal for transporting delicate pencils to avoid breakages - I will use it to store my new pencils until I can purchase a Derwent pencil wrap which holds a lot more.
