Igho Tabor is still ruining lives, posing as a professional design and building contractor.
She destroyed my building project.
Five years later,am left with an uncompleted building.
Her claims of positive reviews are fraudulent.
She tried to pressure me for a good review in the first week she started my project.
She's conniving, deceitful and very very economical with the truth.
Igho is a serial director of failed companies with huge debts to frustrated and unsatisfied customers.

I am an NHS Midwife, I have consulted Igho Tabor of Designhomeplan Ltd for my property over 14years, I highly recommend her services, She is efficient and trustworthy

I was going to ask for this company to work on my new extension and put plans accordingly, I read the replies and it shocked me that they have a bad job and good job price. Also that there qualifications are somewhat questionable. I thought I would share my decision to go to a more suitable company with more understanding of good practices.

We run a property management service, we used the services of Designhomeplan Ltd, and we had a professional and friendly experience. We recommend the services.

Please believe when I tell you, my family is not the only people who have this same complaint about Ms Tabor. We have personally been in contact with over 5 different clients of hers all with the same story and all of whom have lost money. I have a letter from one of her clients where she admits owing them £40,000.

This matter is in court but I am still entitled to write honest reviews about my experiences with Igho Tabor, even if I wasn’t on the contract.

I write these reviews purely as a warning to others, this woman was paid to do work that she did not do and instead of giving back the money she created charges and fees that were not agreed in the original contract and blamed Covid even though she was paid for those services well before Covid was even an issue. We have proof to back up every single thing we have said and have the backing of others she has done this too.

Please also note that she has done this before, search under her name and her previous company Siproj Architecture.

Please do not let these 5 star reviews (many of which I believe to be fake or orchestrated by Ms Tabor in order to increase her score), I'm sure if you research enough, you will find many more people like me who she didn't ask for a review. Negative reviews are just as valid!

Please note, I was contacted by a woman who Ms Tabor did work for towards the end of 2022; Igho and her team absolutely trashed their home, leaving it in a dangerous and uninhabitable state, she also deviated from the set plans and then when trying to correct them demanded money to fix the problems she and her 'expert team of builders' caused.

Once again I implore you to refrain from using Igho for your building work, she is not to be trusted.

If clients have any problems they should be contacting me directly. In life you can't keep everyone happy. That's life. If Prince Harry's memoir has taught us anything, is that people have a right to believe what they want. But if they truly want the truth they should always go to the source and ask questions. I've just bought a copy of Spare so I can get answers from the source."

Firstly, I am the source, I was there, I saw everything, including how you left my family including my 4 month old child without a kitchen for MONTHS and living on a dangerous building site!

You were contacted directly many times, and you either didn't respond at all, or responded with matters that weren't relevant or were outright lies.

Why didn't you attend court last month Igho, I thought you were ready to speak your 'truth'?

I write these reviews to remind people to do their research about you and to combat the quite obviously fake ones that you have gotten others to write, because no one provides 5 star service every single time, and I highly doubt you do.

I've worked with Igho on a planning permission project for a building on the South coast. We work in the field of digital signage and often this permission is required for outdoor signs. Igho quoted a competitive cost for the job and we proceeded. Sadly, my client, had failed to tell us at the outset that the building was listed and this both added time and complication to the job. Igho continued and successfully completed the work to the original budget and we gained permission with Worthing Council. Communication was good and to be honest, I can not complain about anything.

Igho was a delight to work with. From the first meeting she understood exactly what I wanted to achieve with the remodel and extension of my ground floor flat and then took this even further to create a plan that went beyond what I thought I could achieve.

Throughout the planning process Igho was always on hand to answer questions and guide me on what needed to be done.

DesignHomePlan were recommended to me by my builder, Terry Wells. Beginning this positive post with a few words about Terry who is not only a professional builder but an accredited Master Builder! Well known in the local building industry as someone who pays attention to detail, I have to voice boy has he accomplish a fantastic transformation of my property. Exceeding expectations, results are simply spectacular. Instigating the fundamental change to my home, Igho’s involvement started at concept then through each stage to application approval. Always prompt visiting or replying to emails her professional approach and industry was as demanded. I wanted an internal overhaul to improve my home by creating space within a modern open plan architecture and all the time being energy efficient. I am so happy with the result. Closing, being a busy person, one has to depend and trust those who are employed to do their job. If I were to do this over again, I would have no hesitation but to use the same people.

After trying to help a person who assured me that she was reliable, a year on and an incomplete build remains just that, a dangerous building site. I am 84 yrs old and have realised that people do take advantage of your age! I felt that I could handle this on my own but have now asked my sons to deal with the matter as it’s taking a toll on my health. I have to say that I would not recommend this person as she has refused to complete the work despite having been paid. I have also just had a council inspectors visit today, he was not at all impressed!

Unfortunately, I am unable to allow Ms Tabor to write complete lies to cover her fraudulent activities.
1. This company did get planning permission, for a project, however, she changed several parts of the plan without my knowledge and she told me her expertise was as an architect, which was a lie since when I first signed the contract she had been BANNED for calling herself an architect, more lies from this fraud.
2. The INDEPENDENT SURVEYOR reported I was owed over £29,000 for materials, goods and work paid for yet never delivered. I have the report.
3. There was a further £21,000 of work that was NEVER signed off by building control because Ms Tabor never called them.
4. The completed work was so poor this was subject to extensive remedial work which meant stripping everything back to the foundations. (The new roof was full of mould and damp because she did not use the correct materials).
5. Lintels, for those laypeople, must be installed to keep the structure from falling down, they were never installed even though she told us they were and continued to lie about materials being ordered etc.
6. These works were all paid for between August and December 2019, long before covid.
7. Ms Tabor took £5200 for a boiler in February 2020. I cancelled the job before it was supposed to start and agreed on a refund, but she took down my existing boiler. Igho Tabor never bought nor installed a new boiler, instead, she told me she wasn't returning the money she was taking it to pay for other things and herself project management fees which were never in the contract. Consumer Rights have already deemed this not to be legal. Removing my boiler also caused my daughters to become homeless because there were no heating or hot water facilities.
8. This fraudulent woman likes to tell people how I want more than the build, YES, the remedial work of putting right HER builder's terrible incompetent, and dangerous work cost me more than DOUBLE, over £30,000 for the remedial work as many builders didn't want the job of fixing her builder's mess. So bad that the electrical work was deemed dangerous, nails in the wiring was just one example of the work of her builders which she described as 'my expert team' who she now is pretending are not her staff.
9. According to Consumer law 2015, she is responsible for correcting substandard work. This she has failed to mention in her lies concerning this project.
10. Mentioning my daughter every chance she gets does nothing to hide the facts. This woman was paid tens of thousands upfront for work she never carried out.
11. I paid for materials and for works that in her emails from 2019 she claimed she had ordered, they never appeared on site, yet she writes the work was held up by covid in March 2020. The reality was she took the opportunity covid provided and stopped work, running off with my money.
12. Her workmen damaged many items in my home, overused my utilities and locked us out of the extension so we could not see that they weren't working.
Finally, please stop giving out personal information which is irrelevant, especially as you have used our money to fund your child's private education and property abroad.
As for my daughters assaulting her, she laughed and danced in front of them, (we have the video) then physically pushed my daughter out of the way after they asked her yet again where our refund was and why she was refusing to pay. She claims to be a victim, yet my daughters and granddaughter were made homeless because of her.
Igho Tabor has operated her fraudulent business and peddled her lies for many years.
You have failed to add up not just the cost of what you were paid for but did not do but, the cost of the work to put right your negligence.
£29,000 work not completed + £30,000 remedial work = £59,000
You can't claim a 5% retention fee for a job half done.
£21,000 of building work completed 90% had to be removed as substandard, I have written and visual evidence including from building control to prove this.
Igho Tabor lied her way into my home and pretended she was an expert. That is why I AM TAKING HER TO COURT. I pray that whoever is reading her response sees through her lies and that this company will one day cease to have the capacity to bring misery to other customers in the future.
Ms Tabor complains of negative reviews bringing down her business when the truth is there for all to see. As for being a woman in this business defending other women, I chose Ms Tabor because she pushed that narrative, but she is a disgrace to other hardworking honest people in her profession. Taking advantage of laws designed to help businesses she has closed her previous company to avoid taking responsibility for her bad works and the tens of thousands she owes others which she never intends to pay.

DesignHomePlan did drawings for a roof replacement and dealt with the building control application. They were quick, efficient and reasonably priced. The work receive approval without issue.

I worked for Igho for three years and I learned a lot from that experience. I have come to know her on a personal level and to understand the way she works. She puts a lot of care and energy into delivering excellent service for her clients. On many occasions, customers came to her with an initial idea and left with options with better value for their money.
She is a hard-working woman with a strong work ethic, working from the crack of dawn until late. People we worked with and for have praised her work and her professionalism. As a woman in the business, she faces harsh criticism and has to prove herself time and time again. But over the years, she has shown resilience and strength in the face of adversity and has bounced back on her feet.
Complaints are not uncommon in the building sector, but her passion has kept her going and she has kept her commitment to use her skills and knowledge in the service of her customers.

Igho did extension planning work for me and that is granted planning permission. She was prompt in responding to my emails and proactive in getting things sorted with Planning.
