I booked through Destinia hotel for 15, hotel received booking from booking.com and not from Destinia for 25euros. And now there's big trouble. They cheated not only on price but if you don't want to use monopolist booking.com they pretend another company!!!!!!! Also they didn't pass the message hotel sent to me with they phone number and adress

Got a great hotel deal online. After calling the hotel, I realised that I was not on the system for the room category I booked.
I contacted Destina and Ruan responded. Her handling of the matter was exceptional. She argued our case and kept me updated. The outcome was a credit issued.

When arriving at the hotel, I still had to pay a resort fee. I booked a hotel room for one night through Destinia. I was comparing their prices to other sites and they had what looked like a decent price. When I got to the hotel I was surprised to find out that I still had to pay a "resort fee" to the hotel. I do not think they are up front in the pricing presented on the website. The only mention of the possible resort fee is buried in the small print of the terms of service.

I called because I could not tell from the site if the tickets I wanted were refundable. I was told they could not tell me until after I had already paid and got the confirmation. After I paid is to late to find that out.

I can only recommend not to book via check24 and Destinia. We booked a hotel in prague arrival yesterday 29th of march 2024 in hotel three crownes prague and paid upfront. We were informed in the hotel that there is no booking. Check24 and Destinia send us to other hotels trying to find a room, eventhough they ensured there is a room available, everything was fully booked. At midnight we had to drive back to Germany as no other hotel was found for us. Never ever we will book with check24 and Destinia.

Dodgy, on google maps shows a price, but once you go to the site and try to book (even within the allocated time) the price suddenly jumps

don't be fooled with low prices. they let you book a hotel and pay full amount then after a month they will email you saying hotel you booked is closing!! and your reservation is not confirmed.
to discover after that you can book your room at other websites and through hotel directly..
i would say save your time and money and look for othet trusted travel agency.

Amazing customer service!!
We needed to make a change to our reservation. Destinia was extremely easy to contact (24/7 service) and extraordinarily kind and helpful. They quickly resolved our issue and worked with the hotel for a refund. Will definitely use them again.

I booked a family Room from Limak Lara via Destinia, but hotel reflected that the booking is just a standard double room, as the booking was done by Destinia via Check 24, Check 24 has been contacting Destinia since 14 Feb 2024. Up to now there is still no feedback from Destinia.

This company sold us a hotel room in Tenerife that was infested with bed bugs. We woke up in the morning to giant bed bugs crawling over our bodies and persons. I phoned Destinia to ask for a refund and was met with nothing short of hostility. The representative said that they had opened a ticket and were working on our claim. I asked when the claim would be resolved and they couldn't give me an answer. I asked if we would receive a full refund and they said that it was not guaranteed. I repeatedly asked the representative if I could speak to the manager and my request was denied. Never in my life have I had a request to speak to a manager be denied. I was held to a 15 minute stalemate with the representative: any question that I asked was met with the same response if "we are looking into your claim". It was honestly the most bizarre interaction I've ever had with an adult human. I asked for the name or employee ID of the representative and was met with the phrase above. Similarly, I asked for the phone number of the health authority that regulates the hotel, this request was implicitly denied by the repetition of the phrase "we are looking into your claim". At one point when I asked another basic question I heard the representative say some sort of Spanish expletive "Maria". She went through shouting and laughter but always with the same phrase. We have not received a refund and were not even offered alternative accommodation at a non-infested hotel. We are going through the process of trying to do a credit card charge back or section 75. Avoid this company at all costs as they provided us with no avenue for redress of grievance.
Update: Destinia finally refunded us after six days without alternative accommodation.
