Would definitely recommend!

We brought a cooker hood online from Devine Distribution as other products on the market just seemed really unoriginal and uninspiring. We loved the choice available and opted for an air force hood. There were delays in receiving it due to getting it shipped from the manufacturer in Italy but Devine Distribution were great at keeping me informed and were always at the end of an email or phone for any questions. I can't fault them. Following delivery, their customer service has also been second to none in answering a query we had. We would definitely recommend this company. The hood was also worth the wait, a really sleek and modern product. Thank you!

Great customer service

Great customer service. The microwave I was looking for had long delays from the manufacturer. But when contacted Divine they offered me a better alternative at the same price. From payment to delivery everything was easy and Millie was so helpful.
The microwave has not been fitted yet.

I have three issue with Devine…

I have three issue with devine distribution. Firstly, the information about noise levels on the website does not match the manufacturer information, stating they are quieter then they are (59 dB vs 66 dB). I even called to confirm and they were still wrong. Secondly they are falsely advertising delivery times. When I ordered on the 5th of June I was told 4-6 weeks. I followed up by email 4 weeks later and got no response. I phoned and was told this will now be september. My third issue is their communication is very very poor. No response to emails and no call back when one is promised. I'm going to cancel my order and purchase from a reputable business, whilst my kitchen sits complete apart from the extractor fan...

Thanks for responding Ben, and for the apology.
I followed your link and selected "Product Fiche" (that's French for product sheet) - you shouldn't miss it. On here is states that intensive mode is 66 - and the V4 has intensive mode... so... worryingly both yours and the manufacturer's websites are wrong/misleading.
To be fair most websites only show the decibels for extractors in their "Max" setting, avoiding boost or intensive modes to keep the numbers low (naughty) - which is why I called to confirm.
You may not know this - but an increase of 10 decibels doubles the perceived volume i.e. 70 is twice as loud as 60, so a difference of 7 is significant.
On the delivery time - Covid had been with us for well over a year by the time I ordered, and national holidays by their nature are fairly well known in advance, so I'm not sure why this is the defence you'd pick - but hey ho.
I think the point of being made to order is valid though, (and I'm glad to learn they are using their hands to make them, if they'd decided to start using other parts of their bodies that really would explain the delay), but I feel you should know this and set expectations that aren't inaccurate by 6 weeks.
We can go back and forth on whether emails were responded to or not, but my inbox and spam has no reply - otherwise I wouldn't be doing this really.

On a positive note - I spoke to Millie after this review was originally posted who was helpful, and she has spoken to the manufacturer and said this will be with me by the end of July which is fine.
Based on her efforts and the fun I've had replying to this I'm going to change my review to 2 stars. It might even get up to three if I do get my product - as promised - before the end of July.

We are very disappointed to have received the above review, I have looked into your comments and investigated them to see what has happened.
Here is a link to Airforces website which states the exact same information as ours.

If you have managed to find information from elsewhere please let us know so we can check, all of our product information comes direct from the manufacturer.
Our delivery times are normally very accurate, but due to covid delays at the factory and the Italian national holiday we have had a delay with your item as it is being hand made to order.
I have checked with our staff and both your emails have been replied to within 24hrs, we would gladly take your call to discuss.
With regards to having a refund, I am more than happy to issue you a refund and cancel the order. I have passed your details through to accounts to get this actioned.

Sent wrong items

Ordered some items for my new kitchen. Items were listed as in stock on their website, but it turned out the majority of items were not in stock. However rather than give me a call and ask how I wanted to proceed, they just sent different, incompatible items in their place! This was not only massively frustrating, it has resulted in a significant delay to my kitchen build. Also meant my kitchen fitter’s time was wasted, as he wasn’t able to do the job when we discovered the items were not as ordered. Thankfully after arguing the toss they collected the items and refunded quickly, but could have done without the hassle and subsequent delays in the first place, which has caused a load of inconvenience.

we are very sorry that you had this issue!
we have had stock issues for our Naber ducting due to brexit and having it shipped to the uk from germany, which alot of manufactures that also use Naber ducting have had this issue, we do another style of 220x90 ducting which works on all our Airforce downdraft hobs and Hoods and also have created an adapter for the Neff, Bosch and Siemens unis therefore havent had any issues, we appreciate that Neff and other hobs require Naber ducting, but we did also offer you a converter free of charge which would of worked as we have done this for many other customers requiring the Naber ducting.
we appoligize that this ducting was not as expected, but would of been useable with the adapter.
We collected the ducting and refunded due and are sorry for the inconvience that you have incurred in this situation,

Excellent service

Excellent service Queries always answered within the day of asking my only negative is the cost but the delivery was on time.
Installation went smoothly by my electrician which adds to the cost and because of the re circulation option I did not place the chimney above the appliance adding to its clean lines. The noise level is great no issues,maybe the lighting could be a bit more powerful when used over a 90cm hob.
On the whole I would recommend both Devine distribution and its appliance

Excellent product and service.

This is a small company who give excellent service and are easily contactable. Visited the show room and tested the product in live test i.e. hop was connected and working.
We were extended our kitchen and build work was in progress when we placed an order for a hob. Ben then kept the item in the warehouse until we needed it. When required it got delivered on the correct day.
Can’t fault the service that I have experienced in dealing with Divine.
Highly recommended. 👍👍👍👍👍
