Quick and easy purchase from a friendly member of the team

We visited DFS basingstoke looking for a sofa for our apartment. We weren’t approached at first but that was actually nice to look at sofas and test them out and do our own thing first.

We were approached by John M he said he is from the farnborough site, he explained everything in so much detail, he was warm, passionate and the most friendliest customer service advisor i have ever come across! The order process was very easy and so happy with our purchase!

But unhappy dfs basingstoke is closing down!

Although the store was closing down the staff were ever so helpful. Issy took her time to explain everything and was very professional.

All the staff were friendly and helpful and made the purchase of a couple of recliners as simple as possible. It is a shame that the store is closing. I hope it will return soon.

Basingstoke store is closing down so the building was cold. Lots of deals to be had on ex display furniture. We weren't pounced upon as soon as we entered the store , no hard sell , unlike some other furniture stores we have been in. Very helpful. informative and patients salesman. Would recommend but such a shame the store is being closed and staff moved to stores in other towns.

We visited the Basingstoke store knowing what we wanted but not the style, there was a good range of sofas to look over and it was easy to make a disition for the two, two seater and one single seat reciining cloth sofas we wanted. Issy guided us through the purchasing process and explained everything about the delivery, removal of old sofas and care of our new buy very efficiently and professionally. We were very satisfied with the service and product quality.

Issy was really knowledgeable and helpful, she made the buying process really easy and a pleasure. Hopefully the rest of the process goes as well.
It was a shame that the materials were not consistent over the range we were looking at, as we were hoping to have had the velvet over both items.

Went to DFS with an idea of what we wanted but delivery time was very important. The sales assistant, MJ, listened to what we needed and what we liked. Made suggestions. She spent time looking at stock to see what we could get delivered quicker. She understand why we needed a short delivery time and was very understanding and compassionate. We ended up seeing another sofa in the show room which we brought and came with a shorter delivery. This for us was a great outcome. MJ was very thorough in talking us through all the steps. We even left with a lamp and cushions. Can’t wait to get our new sofas. MJ was fantastic!!
Only negative - big one - the staff are having to relocate to Reading due to Basingstoke showroom closing down. DFS should be trying to stay in the town.

Great, unintrusive service, Ben let us mess around with sitting and measuring for an hour and when we asked for his help, he was straight there. Just what you need.

Had a really helpful assistant in Ben , He answered all our questions and was knowledgeable about everything we needed to know.
