Gabby helped us out and displayed extreme patience, demonstrated knowledge about the products and was extremely attentive throughout the whole process. She was truly wonderful in helping us pick out the furniture we were looking for. Wonderful experience and most definitely recommend. Thank you Gabby 😊

Great selection of sofas. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, particularly Christopher Barlow who sold us our sofa. He left us to browse at our leisure and there was no pressure whatsoever. Would recommend!

No pushy sales man, just ready to advise when we needed to ask questions.

Paid for a simple repair in January…

Paid for a simple repair in January 2026, still waiting, it is now JULY! No communication whatsoever, so so so disappointed and I will never use DFS again. They simply do not care.
I have asked for a full refund and I still have no response.
DFS asked for a review a soon as I paid for the repairs upfront in January, I thought I’d wait until the repairs had been carried out, I’m so glad I did because I don’t even want to offer 1 Star ⭐️
Absolutely AVOID at all costs!
Shocked beyond all belief.
Poor customer service across the board.

As most of our furniture is made to order, the parts needed to resolve some concerns have to be ordered directly from our suppliers as we don't stock the parts. Much like our furniture the majority of parts are made to order and can sometimes have similar delivery times to that of the sofas themselves.

I appreciate there has been a delay and I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay and the lack of communication from DFS. I have chased this internally with the relevant department and advised the urgency to ensure you are contacted to discuss this.

3 decades I’ve used this company….No more!.

I have been using DFS for decades for my furniture.
Spent 4.5K on 2 sofas & have had nothing but problems with them. First sofa it took 9 months before Guardsman wrote it off, 2nd one took 7 months before being wrote off.
When you pay this sort of money for their top spec sofas you don’t expect to be dealing with these problems. DFS need to look into who’s making this furniture as the frame work is of poor quality, the quality & the cost don’t match.
Have had my money all refunded except for £904 which they tell me was a good will gesture, it wasn’t, it was a credit note from a previous piece of furniture I bought, that discoloured, which was sent over to the store manager in Hove. I asked them since when did you give good will gestures of £904. Their response was, we like to look after our regular customers. My response was, so if I come in to buy new ones after the stress I’ve been through for 18 months what will you give me for the inconvenience I’ve suffered, his response was……£50. At this time I actually laughed because he said the company wasn’t a bottomless money pit. So you can supposedly give me £904 2 years ago, but only £50 now if I come in to buy more furniture. 🤔….it was a credit note!
The call was recorded by the way for ombudsman

3 decades I’ve spent double figures in the thousands, on furniture….not anymore.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are deeply sorry to hear about the issues you have faced with furniture and the subsequent handling of your concerns. Your feedback is extremely valuable.

After reviewing this internally I can confirm the order was delivered in 2022, it was agreed if you were to order again (2-weeks after delivery) a refund of £50 would be taken discounted from the newest order. This is now 4-years later, I am afraid it is not proportional to grant any further remedies. We will cooperate with the Ombudsman complaint once received.

Terrible service

Terrible service, my sofa, chairs and footstool arrived as planned, the footstool was terribly cracked inside, the delivery man reported this with photos he took and said you should hear in a couple of days about a replacement, exactly one week later I haven't heard a thing, disgusting service.
