All the staff were very helpful and Sumehra who talked us through the whole process. She answered all our questions and gave good advice.

From entering the store, we were met with friendly , knowledgeable staff. We were not rushed or pressurised. A lovely young man made us all a cup of tea, but the star of the show was the lovely lady, can't remember her name but she had a lovely accent! She couldn't do enough for my elderly mum which was really appreciated. Thank you so much.

Great choice of sofas. We were unsure of what we wanted but with some very good advice we made a choice. Everything we needed to know was explained to us regarding the quality and build of the sofas. Joe

The sales person was very clear and helpful with buying our new sofa.

Extremely disappointed with DFS. Before our delivery date (09/06/26), we informed customer services that a standard 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle would not fit down our driveway. We were assured the sofa had been transferred to a smaller van and would be delivered.

We took a day off work for the delivery, but the sofa never arrived. We received no phone call, no update, and only discovered via the tracking link that delivery had failed. We were later told the van was still too large, despite our prior warning.

Since then, we have spent 6 days chasing updates. Every time we called, we were promised that the warehouse would contact us by the end of the day, but nobody ever called. We were also repeatedly given conflicting information, including being told that a delivery had been arranged for 15/06/26, only to find out on the day that no such delivery was booked.

We have now taken two days off work unnecessarily, have no confirmed delivery date, and have been left constantly chasing information. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to a supervisor, a customer service adviser ended the call.

The lack of communication, broken promises, and poor customer service have made this an incredibly frustrating experience. We still do not have our sofa and cannot recommend DFS based on our experience. By the way, the delivery cost we have paid is £130 in addition to the price of the sofa.

Josh greeted us at the door, found out what we were looking for, directed us to the right area. Got us a coffee so we could relax on the sofa and told us if we needed anything just to call him. No pressure so we bought the sofa.

Very friendly and staff were not pushy. Ask if we wanted help then left us alone to look until we were ready.
