The staff member was really lovely and went through all the different options with us. Really patient, taking time to break things down when we were making decisions. Didn't feel like he was just 'out to get a sale' or pressuring in any way which is really nice. He is a great asset to the team.

Delivery price feels like a scam
Good couch bought, sales person had a quick chat and didn’t put any pressure on, correctly gauged I’d say. The actual sale was quick and they explained our finance options clearly. We chose to rent a van and collect ourselves which was way cheaper than their own delivery service. Within the local area (3 miles) I expected the delivery to be included in the price of the couch, or say even £50, which we would have paid. Delivery prices offered are honestly shocking, even compared with other companies. £129 for a couch to be taken 5 minutes down the road. If you can’t collect it yourself then I would look elsewhere. The feet supplied with the couch were correct but there were no holes on the base of the couch so we had to drill our own. If we’d contacted them I think this would probably have been rectified but it didn’t seem worth the hassle and we were afraid of having to hire another van and cost ourselves extra. The couch is very nice, but in hindsight not sure if I’d buy from DFS again.

Our delivery charge is the same in-store, online and over the phone. Your delivery will be assembled in a room of your choice by professionals and the packaging of your furniture is then disposed of in a sustainable and responsible way.
To confirm, the feet for the holes would have been drilled and the feet installed by the drivers on delivery. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

On our visit the staff were all very helpful
On our visit the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lindsay was the first member to come over and speak. She was super helpful when she knew what we sort of had in mind. She. gave us some help then let us wander around, checking back in with us every now and again, not following us around. We had a great in store experience and ended up buying a sofa.
