We first contacted DGCOS on 18th January 2023 when water was running into our summerhouse light fittings and fused all our electrics. This had been built 3 years previously by TWS who had just stopped trading. At the time we felt buoyed up reading the 10 Year Guarantee, not realising the long process that DGCOS had to go through to meet this guarantee. Nevertheless, although we were latterly starting to doubt whether the Guarantee would be honoured, throughout this last 6 months, they have always acknowledged and answered every query we had. DGCOS have explained step by step the processes the Insolvency Practioner had to undergo and now with hindsight, we understand the lengthy processes that had to been gone through. Thanks to DGCOS, we now have had a completely new summer house roof installed. Cathryn in the Remedials unit has been a good ambassador for DGCOS.

I contacted DGCOS in early March 2023, after TWS insolvency. Very quickly, I had a return call from a friendly, informative, efficient and professional Dispute Resolution Manager. Throughout the process of my claim for replacement of 2 Rockdoors, I was able to supply copies of all the information she required. She kept me up to date at all times about progress and appointments. The result on Monday 5th June 2023 was the arrival of Martindales to install the new Rockdoors delivered 2 weeks earlier. I was extremely happy with the service I received and I would definitely recommend DGCOS & Martindales to anyone.

When I contacted the company, they arranged for someone to come and look at the issue.. however it was not for 4 to six weeks after.. the window had shattered but was still in place, but 2 weeks before anyone came out to see it collapsed.. this could have been dangerous if my grandkids had been about.
Everything took too long, ended up I had two replace both windows but you would only pay for one.. but I couldn’t mismatch them

I had to use dgcos as my window started to leak and the firm , p&p windows, had been put into administration. They sent men out to fix the problem. Which they did thankfully. I would definitely use them again if the need arose.

The Customer Services Team were very quick and efficient in taking all the details of my complaint. I only had to wait two weeks before the remedial work was swiftly carried out. I had a very friendly and professional Resolution Officer, who kept in touch with me by phone and email. I am very happy with the service I received, and would confidently recommend anyone to make contact with DGCOS to sort out a problem.

My advice is keep all of your paperwork no matter how irrelevant you will need it for prove of purchase. Thanks and good luck.

Its about time associations like DGCOS are investigated for fraud. They aline themselves with Installers and NOT the consumer and back guarantee policies that although they say are for 10 years in truth its only 12 months. And in the first twelve months you are covered anyway by the consumer protection clause.

DGCOS were very good until I ended up dealing with Tracy in the resolutions department. We found her condescending, making no apologies for the poor service received by us from the installer. We thought that her mediations were heavily biased towards the installer, from where their income is derived I believe. The conflict remains unresolved. I will never again use a DGCOS affiliated company, nor recommend that anyone else does.

Absolutely useless and a complete waste of time, don't even bother contacting them, I gave up in the end because they didn't know their A from their elbow take proper legal action
