Efficient and straightforward booking, clear instructions and good communication.

We attempted to work with this company as a corporate booking agency, we placed some enquiries for one of our clients potential stay, but did not proceed with any booking as our client's project was postponed. No booking confirmation was sent, no contract made. Just enquiries that did not translate into a booking.
The owner then left a really bad review about my company and small team without any of us being aware of this, which is still showing today "Accommodation provider totally messed around by thus company - never booked and changed date requirements over the course of a month"
She even states in her review that we never booked. I reached out to her to enquire why she left this and if she would remove it, which she replied "Your reps contacted us and reserved several properties, changed the properties and the dates over the course of a few weeks, whilst these properties are on hold no one else can book them so we potentially missed out on bookings for peak weeks"
Clearly this owner was upset that they had agreed to put a property on hold for us and our client due to us anticipating an imminent decision from our client, which did not translate into a booking. It is clearly the decision of the owners to do this or not - we are often told properties can not be put on hold by providers we work with, or told a property can be put on hold for 24 hours, or only until the end of the business day.
Then when a booking did not transpire, the owner took it out on my company and my team by leaving bad reviews against our knowledge. I emailed her directly asking why she did this and requested for its removal.
She replied" "My review is a genuine review of my experience with your company., i thought it was careless of your reps to put properties on hold for so long"
How can it be careless for what is essentially a customer making a genuine enquiry, which did not translate to a booking? Clearly the owner is disappointed, and thought it necessary to take their own frustrations out against us as a customer.
So i felt it necessary to express my experience that the owner of this company is unreasonable, unprofessional, takes no accountability for her own actions and business decisions and I'd be cautious if you did actually place a booking with this company should you need to make changes or cancel, as I can not imagine you would be treated well.

Good choice of properties, lots of information on amenities and photos of the rooms.
Just annoying to have to keep inputting the destination, dates and no. of people when looking at different properties within the same area.
All looks good so far and hope to review well after our stay.

Very good location. This second floor flat was on the small side if fully occupied. Kitchen quite small, so no cooking, but plenty of decent places to eat nearby.

Didn’t advise of a an issue in the property on booking or before arrival. Didn’t respond when issue raised.

Excellent communication and response to any queries.

Great flat, very clean and well equipped. Easy walk to beach and Swanage High Street. One parking space provided which always helps with holiday accommodation. Dorset Cottage holidays very good agent answering any queries we had very promptly

This was our third stays with Dorset Holiday Cottage and as always everything was perfect. We stayed at Cordwainer's Cottage in Winfrith Newburgh. The cottage is really beautiful and comfortable with all the amenities that you need for a perfect holiday. We truly appreciated the lovely garden with plenty of spaces to sit in the sun or not. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the furniture were very great.

Excellent experience rang them to ask for more information on the property. Got through straight away very helpful staff

Step up into side door much more than 1cm.
Next door owner not helpful by parking van opposite your drive.

We stayed in Cordwainers Cotaage in Dorset and it was an excellent property. Photos were true to life and the facilities and equipment provided were the best airbnb we have stayed in so far! Wonderful location and excellent accommodation

Elizabeth Cottage in West Lulworth is all we hoped for and more! Well equipped, and beautifully clean, this has to be the most comfortable holiday let we've ever stayed in. The beds, sofa and easy chairs are really comfortable! Plenty of storage space in bedrooms too.

The upstairs bathroom looks brand new, with a claw-foot bath! The downstairs shower unit looks brand new too.

The cottage garden is great for simply chilling, with lots of chairs, tables, and sun umberella. There's a brand new barbecue too!

Kate, who manages it, is wonderful! So helpful, and kept in touch with us on way there to ensure we didn't get lost, and made sure there were interesting guide books available. Lovely welcome hamper too, including doggy goodies.

West Lulworth has the advantage of being within a pleasant walk to the Cove but avoids the crowds, and has an excellent local shop with a very wide range of goods, from essentials to luxuries, with fresh bread and baked goodies delivered every day.

We had a super, unforgettable holiday. Thank you Kate.

Very impressed by this company. Good communication, friendly and efficient service and described the apartment I was renting accurately. Would definitely use them again if my wife and I holiday in Dorset in the future.

This was possibly the nicest house we've stayed in. Spacious, clean, thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. The air fryer was a nice touch. Neighbourhood was quiet and the location was wonderful. Just 20 mins walk to the seafront and 10 minutes to get onto countryside paths. We loved Swanage, and our stay at Purbeck Escape

The cottage was in a beautiful location however back garden was dangerous for children and dogs as there was a big drop from the patio to the bottom . Parking not good as you have to park on the road then carry your stuff up a little alley to get to cottage . Comfortable stay
