Very poor customer service, all answers generated by a BOT. Very difficult to contact seller. Will think twice about using them again.

I had a dress made with my exact measurements for an upcoming event. They definitely didn't deliver. The top part of the dress is good but threading is coming apart, the bottom half is awful. I can't even get the dress down. And they did not use my measurements.! They will not reply or refund either.

So easy to look up items and find them. Had to be careful not to click on first item as that wasn't what I wanted but all ok would recommend

I Ordered on the 26.07.2026 the seller kept on postponing the shipping date saying "3 days till the warehouse ships your shoes, please close the dispute u opened in order for us to ship the items" when i closed the dispute i couldnt reopen one. dhgate istn willing to help me out even tho i clearly havent received the item and even the seller admits to it in the chat log.

I never go tmy shoes and the seller isnt shipping them. Dhgate advertises with insurance however they never support the buyer when he actually needs help. this was my second time something like this happened on dhgate. i totaly do not recomend ordering from dhgate.

DhGate is a FRAUD website... pls pls don't buy anything... irresponsible customer service and fraud sellers listed... DHGATE IS A FRAUD, I LOST MY MONEY

I bought a pair of air pods .
They arrived but only one air pod in.
I Asked to return and was told I couldn’t!
Seller was abusive and told me why it was his problem.

Do not use DHgate for your purchases. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and provides no real help. They keep sending you around in circles without resolving the issue. Even the “account manager” Aicka was no help at all. Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend DHgate.

Edit: Subsequently, DHgate issued me a refund. However, I will keep this post up because I want you all to be aware of this vendor and avoid them at all costs.

Wow — I’ve been scammed!

I’ve never experienced anything like this with AliExpress or Alibaba, and because people often compare these platforms, I decided to put my trust in DHgate. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged that trust.

DHgate needs to do more to protect genuine buyers from sellers behaving like this. Chinese wholesale platforms already face a lot of mistrust from international buyers, and situations like this only reinforce that negative reputation and unfairly affect legitimate Chinese sellers too.

I spent approximately £270 on 57 perfumes, plus another £66 for premium/express delivery. My parcel arrived today and not one perfume was inside. I received a small package containing cardboard.

Even more unbelievably, the seller had previously told me through WhatsApp that an “empty package” was being sent, so thankfully I have written evidence of this.

The seller persuaded me to communicate through WhatsApp and initially tried to convince me to make a payment outside DHgate. I refused and insisted on purchasing through DHgate specifically because I wanted the protection of the platform. I accept that moving the conversation to WhatsApp was a mistake, but thankfully I kept all of the messages and evidence.

I’ve now emailed DHgate twice and provided details of what has happened. I hope they investigate this seller and resolve the matter quickly.

I’m genuinely shocked that after all the contradictory explanations I was given, an empty package actually arrived. Fortunately, I have photographs, tracking information, DHgate messages and WhatsApp conversations documenting what happened.

Please, if a DHgate seller asks you to move your conversation to WhatsApp or pay outside the platform, don’t do it. Keep your communication and payments on DHgate so that you have as much buyer protection as possible.

I was simply trying to find a trustworthy long-term supplier for my business. I hope DHgate takes this seriously and protects both its customers and the many legitimate sellers using its platform.

I placed a order 8-18-2025 and still haven't received my order not even a refund I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this scam site

If I could leave zero stars I would have. The sellers are not trustworthy and customer service protects them and ignores the buyers concerns altogether. I have had the worst experience trying to purchase 2 items. The sellers asked me to cancel the orders as they had no intention of shipping. When a withdrew requests for refunds sellers again stated they would not ship the items. Process was then changed to I could now not request a refund until the items did ship 12 days from time of purchase. I would not trust buying anything on this site

No delivery and no contact from the seller. In the end I got the card company to reverse the transaction

Placed an order weeks ago, seller repeatedly missed shipping deadlines, complained to DH Gate, opened a dispute, requested refund as item wasnt being sent, seller refused and DH Gate upheld the seller decision, so in short if you pay for something, dont expect to receive it

I'm a bit disappointed with the platform. They have to have better alternatives, for disputes. It's very difficult, why did it be said that you don't have problems with the article?? But already in 2 purchases I have had disputes and the experience has not been the best. Not including what it is late for me,

Customer service doesn't have your back and doesn't care if the vendors lie, cheat or manipulate you. I've been cheated on this site to many times. I'd never recommend it for anything.

Disappointed with my order. We ordered four pairs of shoes but only received two. What makes this even more concerning is that the package was labeled and showed a weight as if all four pairs had been included. The package was clearly not large enough to reasonably hold all four pairs, and the shipping label showed a package weight that we provided as evidence.
Despite showing the seller the package size and the weight on the shipping label, which supported that only two pairs could have been inside, the seller issued a $0 refund and then closed the case.
The way this was handled has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend thoroughly documenting your package, including its size, weight, and contents, if you order from this seller.We contacted the company regarding the two missing pairs, but we still have not received the shoes or a refund for the items we never received. The payment was processed and we paid the full amount even after disputing it with klarna.
I expected better customer service and accountability.

Middling level of service.

Fully aware it's a marketplace of different sellers so its hard to review the company themselves as not every product is coming from them.

Website isn't gamified as much as you see when popping onto TEMU but the offers notification sound is irritating.

Tracking updates aren't frequent, and my item has been past customs clearance for 5 days. Mistakenly, I've marked the item as arrived when i wanted to check the tracking so i've no review of the item itself but for the services it's very meh at the moment

Slow shipping bad customer service

Ordered a 15.6" digital photo frame, received a 7" digital clock instead. DHgate's dispute process put the burden of proof entirely on me — I supplied photos, weight, dimensions, and an unpacking video, and it still wasn't enough. Meanwhile the seller's "evidence" was just a photo of correct stock, which could've been taken any time.

Seller has since edited the listing to hide the original size claim. Store has a large share of negative reviews describing the same issue. DHgate's resolution: a $5 coupon.

Filed a Scamwatch report and a chargeback with my bank. Be very cautious buying anything on DHgate where item accuracy matters.

EDIT : 18/08 - DHgate responds to me and tells me that a refund can be processed if the seller agrees. Why will the seller agree if seller is a SCAMMER. You guys have a intellectual problem ?

Great experience so far on my orders. Great customer service. I have done multiple orders and always had a wonderful experience thus far .

Just received my Ipswich town away jersey ,got to say the quality is amazing in my opinion just as good as you get in the club shop,only difference is price ,about £45 cheaper..only one bit of advice , I had large ,it only just fits .so id go a size higher next time 👍👍
