From my recent experience
From my recent experience, I find this to be a grotesquely unpleasant, dishonest and untrustworthy company. I’d strongly advise any self respecting citizen to avoid them. After I paid a holding deposit over the telephone for a used car, they became mysteriously unavailable, failing to answer their phones and not confirming a provisionally agreed viewing/collection time. (Try calling them and see how much success you have getting through to them!). They also refused to deliver the car and insisted I travel 200 miles on another day which was now inconvenient.
They have now stolen my deposit!! They don’t respond to any emails (so far I’ve sent more than ten). The director, Paul Kefford, even put the phone down on me when I called to politely ask for it back! Their Facebook messenger representatives also appear flaky. They claim to be only “third party” representatives and won’t discuss my deposit refund.
As very clearly stated in U.K. consumer law, they are acting unlawfully by refusing to refund the deposit (all discussions took place off-site). They are now the subject of pending court action to retrieve the deposit.
This review is based entirely on my own experience and expresses my own opinions. However I’d be surprised if anyone comes away feeling good after dealing with these people.
