To be honest they don’t even deserve as much as one star!!

Take That advertising preorder of their TT30 album along with early access to tickets with a code if you bought said album... so naturally I did... no email confirmation of preorder only the PayPal receipt

No preaccess code either!!! I appreciate that it’s not the end of the world but don’t advertise something and then fail to follow through...

Had to go through PayPal to get a refund.

My advice, buy through your local retailer rather than these clowns

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID. As with most of the complaints on here, order placed, money taken. No email confirmation or invoice. No goods delivered. Digital Stores customer services have claimed that they have no knowledge of my order, despite the money being taken!! Bank now involved to recover payment.

Avoid. Totally Incompetent.

I received a faulty Manchester Rolling Stones Lithograph. I had to send photos to prove it was faulty. I then asked for a replacement; they gave me a refund. The 'Freepost' address they gave me wasn't free so it cost over £5 to send it back. They refused to send me the cost of postage unless I bought something else. Absolutely disgusting. I now have no Lithograph, I lost money and time messing around. Do not use these people.

They refuse to send the items even though they have had payment. This company stinks and should be investigated.

This company really is as bad as all the reviews here are saying.
I ordered a Rolling Stones t-shirt. 31 pounds was very quickly taking out my bank account and then nothing. Weeks went past and no shirt. They do not reply to emails so I eventually found a phone number 0845 052 7506...i was told that they don't have the shirt in stock. I asked when they might get it in stock and was vaguely told ''not sure, might be a few weeks'' My request for a refund was refused and I was told I would just have to wait for the t shirt......its a complete joke

Refund now sought through paypal..my advice, avoid these jokers, support your local independent..it'll cost a little more, but you will actually receive it!!

Terrible service and communication

Terrible service and communication, although the item did arrive in the end. I ordered a Public Image Limited (P.i.L.) band T-shirt (£20, + £3.95 postage), so price OK. I paid by PayPal and the payment got taken straight away, and the message confirming this from PayPal came through fine. Then that was it. Nothing more. No communication from the company confirming the order, or confirming shipping, no tracking, nothing. When ordering, it said postage would be 1-3 days in the UK. After more than a week, I though it time to chase up, so based on detailed taken from PayPal, tried to call them (phone number not working at all) so then e-mailed to both www. digitalstores.co.uk and www. universalmusic.com, both of which linked to from the P.i.L. official website. After a few days, no replies at all to any of the e-mails, so escalated a complaint case with PayPal to try and get my money back. Also, no reply from PayPal, just a confirmation that my complaint was made. All-in-all, a terrible experience with zero communication. On-line shopping has gone downhill a lot since the early 90s. This is one of the worst on-line shopping experiences I have had. Some companies still do things SO, SO well with lots of reassuring communication as your order progresses. Will not be ordering from this shabbles again, and would recommend others to steer clear of these cowboys. OK, my order arrived, but consider how much (unecessary) time wasted on chasing up and complaining. Jason Kaye.

Excellent service, I don't know why they have a bad rep

I looked at the reviews here and was nervous for my own order, however Digital Stores manages the Weeknd's shop and I received my Vinyl LP of Starboy after 2 days. Excellent service, cheaper than Amazon and HMV by at least £5!!! Would definitely recommend, at least for the Weeknd's UK store.

Hopefully you have come here before …

Hopefully you have come here before buying from these cowboys. Avoid at all cost. They take your money first and you ask questions later like "where is the goods or services you promised?" Bought a digital radio which they said would be shipped when available. Paid through Paypal. They said payment wouldn't be taken until item was ready to ship but proceeded to remove money from my account without telling me. Unable to contact them through their own web site so had opened up a dispute claim with Paypal to get my money back. They don't give a toss because I assume there must be enough mugs out there for them to stay in business

Absolutely embarrassing.

Absolutely embarrassing.
Bought and paid an object from Paddington Official Store as Christmas present. Never arrived. A lot of messages sent to Customer Service. No answer. An additional mail sent directly to mailbox of digitalstores: no answer, again. I've never found a CustomerService working so bad (or, better, not working at all)

Shocking service never received the Rolling Stones LP On Air and told me a pack of lies as to why I hadn’t received this LP.
I don’t believe they sent it in the first place.

Order not fulfilled

I preordered the Rolling Stones album On Air a week before issue, thinking it would be safe buying from the “official Rolling Stones”website . The cost and postage were debited but nothing had arrived a week after issue. There’s no telephone number given for the website. I eventually got a reply to my emails, telling me the album was sold out! I’m still waiting for a refund! Strongly recommend avoided this website.

Ordered a Rolling Stones gig poster the day after I attended their Paris gig on 25th October. It said it was available pre order 3rd November. So received an email 20th November saying it had been dispatched and obviously had the money taken out of my account. 3 weeks later nothing has arrived there is no tracking system and they do not respond to emails. It's shameful that big bands even sell their merchandise on this website

Tears For Fears Ticket Fiasco.

What an absolute shower this company are. I ordered the new Tears For Fears Greatest Hits album on Friday 27/10/2017 so that I would get an instant music download and a special code for advance tickets pre-sale on Tuesday 31/10/2017 at 09:00. I also had a discount code to get 15% off any purchase, which didn't work.

Contacted Customer Service on 30/10/2017, on 0845 052 7506 (11p a minute + access fee) to see where everything was and spoke to Jade. Explained that I'd been emailing since Friday for an acknowledgement of my order but she couldn't explain why it has gone wrong. As she couldn't an immediate answer for me she promised a call back before the tickets went on sale.

In meantime a code arrived 30/10/2017 so set up account on ticket website, selected 2 tickets for Birmingham when they became available at 09:00 today, entered code at 09:20 and it's invalid. Copied and pasted 4 times to be absolutely sure it's not me with dyslexic fingers.

Then get the return call from Jade at 09:56 to say a code was sent 30/10/2017 and that she's going to apply the 15% discount to my order. I explain that the ticket code doesn't work so she agrees to contact the team who sent the codes out and get an urgent replacement sent to me.

60 minutes later and Jon in their Customer Services sends me a new code number. 4 attempts later and finally the code works but, all tickets are sold out except, for some separate single tickets which are no good when I want two together. I have tried every venue I can get to and there are no tickets left in the pre-sale.

Emailed Digital Store for a response and the silence is deafening!!

Problem is that they're a subsidiary of Universal Music, who represent and run pre-ordering web-sites for over 200 different artists on their labels so it's likely that this is the way that tickets sales are going in the future and they probably don't care about one person who has had this problem.

It's frustrating as I kept my end of the bargain and bought the album and they didn't keep their end as I didn't get a working code until it was too late and still haven't got the instant download.

I appreciate that Jade tried to help me but the customer service with Digital Store is a waste of time as, if you're time dependent on them, they don't want to know.

I hope, next time I want to go to a show, I don't have to deal with this outfit again.

Very disappointing service - get the item elsewhere if you can!

I ordered an expensive item via the Queen Online Store, which is operated by Digital Stores. The item was marked in stock and I received a confirmation email, albeit a day later. The money for the item was debited via PayPal very soon after and I waited for a email to confirm the courier had my parcel, estimated delivery 1-2 days... I waited... and waited.
After a week, and submitting an online help query as there was no phone number provided, I got fed up and did some hunting around. This included checking out these reviews (thanks folks) which did not fill me with confidence. I eventually managed to track down a Customer Service number via a series of linked companies, to 0845 052 7506.
In total contrast the Customer Service team couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic over the phone. After spending a number of days trying to find out what had happened with my order, and that the item was out of stock and not even remotely deliverable, they refunded me the total amount.
I hope this helps if you are as stuck as I was. I wouldn't recommend ordering from one of the band sites serviced by Digital Stores based on this experience.
