Poor quality, poor customer service.
I've had the endurance mats for less than a month and they are already worn and now look pretty unappealing. I contacted customer support and they told me it was my fault and was down to the type of shoes I am wearing and they wouldn't send me a new drivers mat. They didn't even ask how often I use the car, what type of shoes I wear ect they just assumed it was my fault without asking me anything. I bought these mats purposefully so they would last and that's how they were described but I am not happy with the quality of the mat that I have revived or with the responses I got from the customer support team.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company - customer service is awful!
We ordered a set of mats with coloured edge trim (pink) for my daughter’s car. When the mats arrived the trim was not as described and was clearly purple. They deny this and are blaming it on screen resolution!
Refuse to amend the mats so am now left with a set of useless mats! The general quality is also poor and certainly not worth £38!
Five Stars from me
I honestly can’t endorse the other reviews.I ordered mats for my second hand, top of the range F Pace Portfolio and they are better quality than the originals and the edging that they didn’t have finishes them off perfectly.
The reviews on other sites certainly seem to concur with my experience. 🤷♂️
Not fit for purpose
The car mats which I purchased do not fit my car either front or back so therefore not fit for purpose on contacting the company was asked again for car no as this should inform them what the mats look like, well yes correct car number and this is supposed to be the correct pattern to fit….unfortunately they do not fit my car so if any one reads this before buying from this company DONT.
An update after numerous emails and I contacted consumer rights this company are wrong trying to say thar their policy allows no refunds, well a policy cannot take priority over law.
Finally how do they get a rating of 2.2.
Entire description is a misrepresentation!!
I can only endorse the other one star comments. I purchased a “classic” set of mats for a Vauxhall Grandland. When they arrived I couldn’t believe how shoddy and flimsy they were! Plus the drivers mat was unfinished I.e minus the extra heel pad, and fixing studs not fitted. I immediately raised a complaint, which was only partially addressed with a pathetic excuse. I was offered a 25% discount if I purchased another set! What an incomprehensible (stupid!) suggestion! I replied with my own suggestion but don’t expect a response - from “Paul”!! I’ll amend this review should I get a positive response……but I’m not holding my breath! Definitely NOT recommended!
Update: I did get a reply from “Paul Moss”, but his explanation on the description outlined on the Direct Car Mats website was a play on words. The mats are still shoddy, worthless and definitely not fit for purpose!
Final update: contacted “Paul Moss” by email requesting he reconsider a refund. No response! I seriously wonder if he and/or the company really exist!
Read reviews Don't buy from here Dodgy.
Useless crappy thin mats i wished i had read the reviews and paid with PayPal like the other disgruntled reviews on here coz they got a refund. This company is a sham scam company and sell poor quality as premium. I wish i could give 0 ratings as they are a joke and should be investigated by trading standards immediately. I paid £34.00 for thin crappy quality and I had purchased the same quality for my daughter's car from another company for £17.99 as she's selling the car soon, so making it look a bit tidier was the only reason i could have bought mine for the same and saved £16.00 the bloke called Paul stated that as i customised a black mat with black trim it cannot be returned 😂😂😂 customary on all mats to be one colour, these are off the shelf pre made it's obvious even a child could see it. Don't waste your money Halfords has standard custom made mats which are either thick carpet rubber or mixed for less than i paid Note to self always read reviews.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.
Save your money, don't buy!
Got some classic car mats with yellow trim for my birthday. They do not fit my car model, and are of very poor quality, so I emailed with images as evidence to request a refund. Paul initially refused to acknowledge my claim that the mats didn't fit, and after sending the pictures, he was even less bothered. Because the trim is yellow, it counts as customised and he has refused to refund them, also claiming he has sold loads for this model recently and had no complaints!.....The man should be in comedy rather than car mats with that line, the reviews speak for themselves. Save your money and yourself from his condescending emails, and buy elsewhere.
Beware the " 12 month warranty "
Ordered a set of car mats for our new Nissan Qashqai. Was initially impressed with the mats and the service received. Collected the new car mid January and fitted the mats.
Now after less than 2000 miles the edging is fraying and unravelling and the " reinforced " heel pad is showing premature wear and loss of pattern. These were not budget range and the contrasting edging was extra.
I sent photos of the issues and received a very dismissive email stating the problems aren't manufacturing faults and therefore are not covered by the 12 month warranty. I now have a scruffy unravelling drivers mat in our new car. I wish I'd bought the Nissan factory fitted option, would probably worked out cheaper in the long run and worn better.
Beware the " 12 month warranty " not worth a light as manufacturer's faults are covered by existing buyers rights anyway.
Car Mats
I ordered a set of car mats online costing £49.99 from Direct Car Mats. The colour I chose was Anthracite but they sent me Black and I mean jet black! I contacted them to advise and they came back to say they had sent Anthracite! The production director said there was very little difference between Anthracite and Black as if I was colourblind! I have pictures comparing the two colours which I sent them and you can’t get any more black than the colour they sent. I asked them to send me their two colour samples but it would appear they are now trying to ignore me! I am a pensioner and £49.99 is a lot of money to me. If they rethink their comments and decide to rectify the situation I will place another review amending this one. Until then I would advise not to buy from them as it would appear their customer service is non existent.
Poor quality cheap rubbish
Really poor quality mats, wore thread bare after 2 1/2 months. Not a "premium" set of mats. Company not interested state tthat is "wear and tear".
So not a premium product at all. Luckily bought through paypal.
Poor quality, so called prestige mats
Quality not as advertised. Ordered a set of the so called prestige mats for my daughters mini countryman and what I recieved were effectively a much cheaper poor quality low pile mat. Because I opted for red trim they classed this as tailor made and refused to offer a refund or replacement, sent me the generic emails which you will see on many reviews on the reviews.io page. The mats also only came with 1 pair of fixings which are also of very poor quality and would not last 5 minutes. Refused a refund or replacement even though I was happy to return them. As I bought them through Paypal I got a full refund, the lady I spoke to at Paypal said they have issued quite a few refunds for similar reasons. Personally I would avoid them as they use the fact every mat is a "customised order" to refuse any form of refund or replacement. The mats were not a 5mm pile, they felt and looked like cheap halfords mats or the sort you get at a market.
