Booked online for albania to italy, very easy to pick up ticket. Booked flex ticket before that was easy to cancel. Actual ferry was appalling but don't think that was direct ferries fault lol

Terrible customer service

We made a booking for Eurostar for 1 BMW car + 2 passengers. Final confirmation shows BMW motorbike. I emailed 10 days ago and had no reply. Customer Service do not answer the phone (says waiting time 5 minutes, hung up after 35 mins) If I try to amend booking they charge almost double.

Depuis le mois de juin 2020

Depuis le mois de juin 2020, nous essayons en vain de contacter la société DIRECT FERRY, afin d'obtenir un remboursement ou un bon, pour un voyage qu'ils ont annulé.
Aucunes réponses, ni par téléphone, ni par mail.
En insistant, nous avons pu enfin avoir une réponse, il y a plus ou moin un mois, en octobre, mais depuis silence radio, plus aucunes nouvelles, je reste toujours en attente. DIRECT FERRY a éviter !!Since June 2020, we have been trying in vain to contact the DIRECT FERRY company, in order to obtain a refund or a voucher, for a trip they have canceled.
No answers, neither by phone nor by email.
By insisting, we were finally able to get an answer, more or less a month ago, in October, but since radio silence, no more news, I am still waiting. DIRECT FERRY to avoid !!DFP132967875

Thank you for the time dedicated for leaving a review. We apologise for the late reply due to a high number of requests received.

I have looked into the details of your booking and also checked all the correspondence related to your amendment request. I noted your initial request was to amend the booking but without any indication on what were the new dates of your interest. After receiving the missing information from you , one of our agents has checked with the ferry company the possibility to complete your amendment .

Since the ferry company has informed that there would be a difference in fare of 12.00 EUR , our agent tried to phone you on the number you provided in your booking, but was not able to reach you and left you a Voice Mail and also informed you via email about the additional price needed in order to complete your amendment. Unfortunately, we were not able to trace back any reply from you accepting the additional payment , therefore we could not complete the request.

However, this ferry company is very flexible and usually allows amendments at the port as well. We hope you managed to amend your ticket at the port and travel as planned.

La ringraziamo per il suo feedback e ci scusiamo per i tempi di attesa.

In seguito alla sua email, ho provveduto verificare le prenotazioni effattuati dal suo account e ho notato che ha due prenotazioni con due operatori navali diversi. La prima prenotazione era stata infatti cancellata dall'operatore navale Blue Star Ferries, il quale ha emesso un voucher per l'importo totale della sua prenotazione, in base alla legislazione attuale nella Grecia .

A causa delle circostanze eccezionali legate alla pandemia di Covid-19, gli operatori navali hanno modificato le loro politiche di cancellazione e offrono solo voucher per viaggi futuri, piuttosto che il solito rimborso in contanti. In qualità di intermediari, siamo soggetti ai termini di cancellazione stabiliti dall'operatore del traghetto, e come tali, possiamo fornirle solo il voucher che ha fornito.

Avendo effettuato una seconda prenotazione con un operatore navale diverso, SeaJets purtroppo non puo' essere considerata una prenotazione doppia dalla Blue Star Ferries e la richiesta di rimborso non e' stata accettata.

Vorrei informarla che il voucher emesso ha una validita' di 18 mesi. Qualora non dovesse utilizzare il suo voucher entro la scadenza dello stesso, potra' successivamente richiedere il rimborso secondo la legislazione nella Grecia.

DFP134933934 biglietti cancellati senza l imborso!!

I had booked a ferry from civitavechhia to porto torres and it was confirmed by directferries. We have come to the port to get on the ferry, then they told us that they dont see our reservation at all. When they checked in their computer , our reservation had been canceled and we learn this 3 hours before the departure. We havent received any cancellation email or whatsoever. Our only holiday has been ruined. The ferry departed as planned, there was no covid cancellation at all..
i have tried to call but there s not even a real number to reach, i ve sent 10 emails that evening and all i got was stupid automatic reply email trying to disgustingly capitalize on covid situation. Our ferry took off on time and we got stranded at that port with frustration. Reading all the bad reviews I am not even sure if i ll be able to take back my 386 euros back. I dont want neither their voucher nor their apologies. Just the money refund asap. Directfuckers that s what they are..reading all the reviews i feel hopeless to get back my hardearned money back!!!

Pessimi-Bad

Ho dato 1 stella perché non si possono dare 0. Non sono corretti, è impossibile comunicare con loro telefonicamente. Ho pagato il mio biglietto tramite loro, dopo alcune ore ho dovuto cambiare le date del viaggio perché la pandemia non mi permette di partire, ancora devo avere una risposta e ho pagato ulteriori 10€ per questo servizio inesistente, in realtà non fanno sapere nulla, ho chiamato io direttamente la compagnia di navigazione SNAV (gentilissimi) per sistemare la questione, e mi hanno detto che Direct Ferries non ha neppure inviato la richiesta (ma 10€ li hanno presi, ladri).

they are incorrect, it is impossible to communicate with them by phone. I paid for my ticket through them, after a few hours I had to change the travel dates because the pandemic does not allow me to leave, I still have to have an answer and I paid an additional 10 € for this non-existent service, in reality they do not know anything, I called the shipping company directly to settle the matter, and they told me that Direct Ferries didn't even send the request (but they took 10 €, thieves).
