Really easy to use website

Really easy to use website. To get the quote, it was a matter of toggles yes or no as to what was needed to cover my car. One of the easiest experiences of getting car insurance I've had for a while.

The complete car insurance package was…

The complete car insurance package was far better value than my usual insurance providers.Car insurance seems to have increased so much in price with all usual add ons ,ie windscreen cover,legal cover, at inflated prices.

Great service with a phone line.

I really wanted to speak to someone rather than doing everything online or via a chat. Direct Line have a phone line for their home insurance which is great. The person I spoke to, Abdullah (in Nottingham), was really kind, helpful and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered and everything completed in a straightforward manner. Confirmations were sent immediately via email and my policy documents arrived as promised (and as requested) in the post. The price wasn't the very cheapest but wasn't the most expensive either. So far, I am very happy with Direct Line.

Good cover

Good cover. Helpful staff if I need to call. A bit pricey considering the many years of No Claims I have. Cover price has almost doubled in the last few years.

Very satisfied

Very satisfied with Direct Line thus far. Everything was clearly summarised with no "hidden surprises" such as additional requirements or conditions, which I found with other insurers. The website and app are both easy to use, and receiving my documents was also very quick. I thought that the price was also reasonable, especially with a Defaqto score of 5 stars.
