Absolute Pathetic APP now, the latest update has made it more or less so annoying to use that you dont want to use it. Speeds are slow, tv guide gone so you cant plan what to watch, finding the sport... See more

Very poor service
We have been subscribing to Discovery Plus for a couple of years now, mainly to watch tennis from the French and Australian Opens, but think this might be the last year we do so.
The price has more than tripled now for the sports, and despite that the quality of the service has worsened.
Casting to a smart TV/Chromecast now doesn’t work half of the time, for no apparent reason, and the matches listed in the app are often not what is then played.
In addition, when I signed up for a sports package most recently, the app said I needed a further pass upgrade to watch the content I was paying for. Web chat support was able to resolve this for me quickly and helpfully, but this never should have happened in the first place.
I’m afraid I have been very disappointed by Discovery Plus.
Poor… Highlights cutout before the stage was complete
Tried to watch Giro D’Italia extended highlights stage 5 2025 and 30 minutes of that was motor racing, 30 minutes of cycling and then cut out 8km from the end. Not the service of a £31 per month service. I won’t be renewing at the end of the month.
Absolute rip off - cannot watch live tennis
Absolute rip off. £30.99 per month for TNT sports and you can’t even watch the Roland Garros live, it wants you to “upgrade your pass” which is already claiming to be the TNT Sport for fu#*ing sports. Such a joke. It gives a vague message asking you to upgrade to be able to watch it live. Upgrade?! WE HAVE ALREADY SPENT £30.99!!!!! I believe this is daylight robbery and avoid them. Wait for Wimbledon instead on the bbc, I think it’s wrong they make it so hard to watch live tennis. Just a money making scam
343% price rise!
I only ever subscribe for the French Open tennis. It's always been a flaky service, but with the price hike from £6.99 to £30.99 - well, D+ can go whistle!
Very poor streaming quality
Very poor streaming quality, clunky, blurry, at some points unwatchable
Terrible quality for steams
Terrible quality for steams, wouldn't reccomend
Under no circumstances subscribe to…
Under no circumstances subscribe to this channel a complete con. Worse I get it free through Sky but there are more adverts than programme time AND it does not care where these are dropped in a program.
Awful
Waste of time trying to connect to my…
Waste of time trying to connect to my tv but i can open it on my laptop so waste of time don't bother with it utter rubbish especialy when you read the instructions how to get it on your tv it's rediculous, if your thinking of paying for it don't waste your money.
I used to pay £7.99 to watch Roland…
I used to pay £7.99 to watch Roland Garros for two weeks. Now I have to pay £30.99.
I am a pensioner and that was my enjoyment. This is a modern rubbery. They do not deserve even one star.
Insane number of adverts
Insane number of adverts. I pay for the £3.99 plan which is described as having a limited number of adverts. I think they need to look up the meaning of the word limited, 6-7 ads every 10 mins is not limited, it’s excessive. Making watching intolerable. In America they have an extra tier for a couple of dollars more for no adverts. Can we have that in the UK also. Otherwise just not worth it even at £3.99.
Giro D'italia cycling highlights.
cycling highlights for the giro are abysmal. hard to find. stage 9 cuts out before the end of the stage!
Useless. Gutted they've got the TDF from 2026 as the quality is appalling. All for £30 a month
Rip off
Like so, so many other users I feel totally ripped off.
Reluctantly got the subscription to watch pro cycling (since TNT is my only option now) and paying £30 a month for ads during live cycling is a joke. Don't use it, let's hope another service gets cycling coverage.
Endless adverts! Dreadful service.
Endless Adverts!
Well I feel completely ripped off. Having watched Pro Cycling for some years free of charge (but with adverts) on Eurosport, I was somewhat frustrated when it all moved to Discovery+ / TNT Sports a subscription service. Having finally relented and signed up I feel completly taken advantage of. Not only do I have to pay an outrageous £30.99 a month I have to suffer EVEN MORE adverts! It feels like they are taking the 'P' out of me, subscription AND adverts. Dreadful service.
Discovery + the land of adverts
Just joined Discovery + to watch the Giro. Can't believe the amount of adverts despite forking out £30.99/month.
Incredible price hike from last year when cycling was delivered through Eurosport. Thumbs down for TNT and Discovery+
Update
On cancelling my subscription I received an email stating :
’Changed your mind? By reactivating your current subscription you can continue to enjoy your ad-free on-demand viewing experience. Simply click the button below before xx-xx-2025.’
I contacted the support team about their ad-free claim. They replied:
’I understand that the email you have received says Ad Free on-demand viewing experience, that shouldn’t be the case. However, will share it with the feedback team, I hope it gets updated in near future’
Is this a case for the Trade Description Act?
Avoid!
A terrible company that treats customers appallingly. Nothing works as it should and impossible to get help when things go wrong, which they frequently do. The ‘service’ is wildly overpriced to add insult to injury!
The streaming quality is very poor
The streaming quality is very poor. Pixilated video is the norm. Not fit for purpose.
Not fit for purpose
I feel angry that I have to give this 1 star.
They have the monopoly for the European football and are failing to deliver..
The live stream drops out all the time.
Not fit for purpose
Rip off
Discovery plus claims to keep the costs down through ad content. Rubbish !!! If that is the truth then the subscription should be free. Same ads every 10 minutes or so. They charge £30 which in itself is robbery. Useless channel
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. The worst coverage of motogp ever. Half is missed whilst they change start times at the last minute. Hardly anything is live.
Worst TV app out there
Worst TV app out there, unstable, slow and if the sport is being broadcast in UHD it crashes and kicks you out of the coverage regularly. I have a 1000Mbps connection but using this app it regularly stalls, don’t have issues with any others.
