Again i will advise. ,, they claim to be the best and leading shop to buy rare records !!! they are not ... please do not get sucked in .. In my own personal collection i have what they offer and they say they do , but weeks to order and find lol ...... Every band or album from there online catalog is a repress so exspensive they are messing you over ... Honestly all these recent reviews are fake. Please take my word ......... peace

A bit on the pricey side, but I’ve bought hard to find records from them and they’ve been dispatched in a timely manner and well packaged. Highly recommended; especially for rarer albums you can’t find elsewhere.

Our family have made multiple purchases from Discrepancy Records and they are always brilliant to deal with and very good communicators. I spoke to a lovely lady over the phone, who assisted in ordering a record I had difficulty sourcing anywhere else, she gave me a realistic timeframe considering it was coming from an international supplier, not only did they meet the deadline they well and truly exceeded expectations in every way, and at Christmas too. Will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.

Worst online store in Australia! Overpriced and the timeframe to dispatch the order vis express post take approximately a week to Sydney. Always ridiculous excuses and if you wanna return if warped LP record, good luck. Truly terrible service and prices.

Don’t feed the sharks they say !!! Most of the stock is and will be dispatched in a certain time frame from our supplier!!. Buy directly from the group or producer via Bandcamp so the artist get what they deserve.

I ordered plastic record sleeves. Supposed to be sturdy. While postage was very quick. The product is rubbish. The sleeves are like heavy duty cellophane but they tear extremely easily along the edges. Cost me $30 for 100. Definitely not worth the cost or effort.

@DiscrepancyRecords, I just received a picture disc from these guys via post, extremely well packed and the contents in excellent condition. The picture disc came in the usual clear plastic sleeve inside a heavy duty outer sleeve supplied free, also in the package another freebie a high quality anti static inner sleeve. Also inside was a leaflet with storage and cleaning tips. I have to say this kind of service is above and beyond excellent and I will be buying my vinyl here till I die (I hope that's a while away LOL). I can't recommend Discrepancy Records highly enough and would say to anyone reading this to go no further than Discrepancy Records for your vinyl needs you won't be disappointed in any shape or form.

Absolutely the best record shop around. Not only is it my go-to shop for new albums, and plastic sleeves, but they also offer a huge range of cleaning products, storage solutions, tips and advice articles too.
Records are posted in super sturdy packaging and I've never been disappointed by them.

Have bought many records in the past from Dicrepancy records and will buy again.

I loved this shop, had purchased several records from this shop and even driven in from rural Vic to visit the new bricks and mortar shop when they opened. Then one of my orders was faulty, three out of six items had warping. These were for birthday gifts. I was stuffed about for at least three weeks asking what sort of record player and needle I had, did I want the warped records pressed etc, with no offer to replace the items, only refund. It took almost a month to get my money refunded and then I had to chase down the birthday gifts again from several different shops. One of the records I went to purchase from eBay from what I thought was another seller, no it was Discrepancy under their other name. I asked to cancel the order because they had told me they didn't have any more stock and I thought it might have been damaged stock still. I was then told they had ordered new stock - yet no one offered to replace the damaged ones I had purchased in the first place. They didn't respond when I asked why. Thought I would give them another chance after two years and went to order some records today and they have blocked me from buying on eBay as if I am a difficult customer after they provided me with faulty goods.

My go-to for music and my saviour for those must-have RSD purchases. I love that I can have a wish list and get reminders when in available. Vinyl is super duper well packed and are delivered in a timely fashion.

I have purchased many records from these guys. Always packaged perfectly and easily tracked. Pre orders are always well informed of delays. I even once ordered a record by mistake..my error..contacted them the next day and they cancelled my order... prices are competitive. Their whole service is A+++. Very trust worthy.

Very poor experience. Received the record with visible scratches that caused the record to skip throughout. We sent it back to be replaced for them to say that it was just dust and it works perfectly. They said they could post back to me but I t would of cost extra for them to post out the same record (as they said they tested it they deemed ok). It then took nearly 2 weeks for them to authorise the refund. I would not trust them as they are happy with scratched records and then when you question it they wash their hands of you.
