We ordered 13 rolls of wallpaper online because we could not find 13 rolls with the same batch number in store. On delivery we had 6 of the same batch number the rest were random batch numbers. We were not happy,
Cashback didn't track.
I bought a video doorbell from B&Q via topcashback. The cashback did not track. The issue was definitely not with my browser as I was using the latest version of Chrome in an incognito window (so no extensions to interfere with it). Without the cashback it was cheaper elsewhere. Knowing from previous experience how terrible B&Q customer service is, I didn't want to faff around with that so just returned it, but had to go out of my way to do that.
Broken item, no response, cancelled party
We purchased an £1100 pergola for a family birthday bbq this weekend. We also got a blind to stop overlooking next door. The blind was broken when it arrived and we asked for a replacement. The phone line told me to email, which I did immediately with photos. 3 days, and one missed outdoor family get together later, we still haven’t heard back. Very disappointing as expected more from B&Q
Terrible online order experience
Placed an online order, they cancelled the delivery twice without notifying as to why. Call centre no help advising me to call store. Store not reachable by phone and not local so drove to my local store they couldn’t even get through by phone either also advising can’t help. Had to drive to the actual store to rearrange delivery still never showed up drove to store again to cancel order. Terrible customer service experience. 1 month later finally got refund.

Luckily it’s not too far away from where I live as it has now become my second home as I rejuvenate a very tired property. Staff always really helpful and knowledgeable, products are always readily available and own brand stuff is good too. Being a B&Q member has its advantages as I always get money off my next shop. I always look on line first to make sure items are in stock and sometimes just order to be delivered as it’s usually free delivery and most times next day.

Delayed delivery with no communication
The estimated delivery dates were way off, to be point where it was a week late and the bed and mattress were delivered on the 1st day of our holiday and left outside by DHL in full view of the street. ( I had contacted 2 days before going away to let them know)
However the items purchased, although not a great delivery and communication experience was good value for money and were happy with the products.
I have bought goods from B & Q before…
I have bought goods from B & Q before (mostly garden items such as compost) and had them delivered as I don't have transport. The delivery man is helpful and leaves the heavy bags in a convenient place for me to move later. Delivery is always on time with the items in good condition.
A perfect little mower for my small garden
I bought a mower, battery powered and wish I had bought one earlier. It is so much easier with out the trailing lead and the cut is really nice. It’s a perfect little mower for my small garden.
