My disabled wife went to D. M. Keith Škoda Wakefield wanting peace of mind and reliability, She purchased a car with a warranty for extra peace of mind.
Unfortunately she has had to take the car back a few times and in doing so they always find something wrong that’s not covered by warranty and needs to be paid for.
The car recently needed a service and MOT so she booked it in, surprise surprise my wife was contacted and told that the car required some additional work not covered by the warranty. She was told the car has passed the MOT but there would be an additional charge for the extra work if required. I told her to refuse and we would investigate later.
On receiving the MOT it shows a clear pass with no advisories so obviously this extra work that they say was required doing was just a profits bump and wasn’t required at all. I’ve had the tyres checked and they’re perfectly legal and other items all check out ok too. I guess it’s buyer beware but we definitely won’t be using these scammers again.

Purchased a Skoda Superb approx 1 year ago, end of April 2024 after less than 3 months then clutch pedal would not return (stuck at floor level). Raised the issue with dealer and all they wanted was for me to used the Skoda warranty. I asked for them to fix under consumer rights act 2015.
Car went in for repair eventually 8 weeks for repair a new fly wheel and other bits. Within a month issue returned and when I contacted the dealership they didn't reply until I chased them.
Emails back and forth with again reminders and chasing up from my side.
There solution replaced the car with a completely different variation of lower spec and as car was now a year older they offered me £3500 less than purchased price and expected me to pay £2000 towards the replacement.
There is more to story but to long winded to put on here unfortunately.
As I have lost all faith in the dealership and Skoda as a brand I have cut my losses and traded the car in elsewhere for £9600.
Awful customer service, I would highly NOT recommend you use this dealer.

Buying a new car is a big thing, and I’ve found in the past that some sales people can be pushy and it put me off. BYD Leeds was the total opposite, their no pressure approach was so refreshing and I actually ended up buying a car there and then. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish and Fozia in particular keep me up to date the whole way through. I absolutely love my car and I’m glad I chose BYD.

D M Keith, Hull, Beverley Rd. We bought our Skoda from this dealer but had recently had a shock absorber fault which had been carried out at another garage with genuine Skoda parts. The process to rectify this under the parts warranty was to go through D M Keith’s. We spoke to them on the phone and were requested to obtain the paperwork. He agreed that they would call us back to arrange to book on for inspection. They didn’t call us back. We rang again, still no callback. We then went in person 10th March to take paperwork and to book appointment. The woman on reception, initials K J (I am not putting her full name but I have it), was very flippant and rude in the way she handled our request. She barely looked at us, no apology for our calls not being returned, a very couldn’t care less attitude. We have now had the vehicle assessed and repaired by them and today have not had any issues however I still feel the need to report what we experienced. I would not recommend their customer service once they have sold you a vehicle and would not use them again.

I’m new to electric vehicles having driven gas guzzling Range Rovers before. Fozia was brilliant in explaining the cars I test drove & I decided on the Seal Excellence having driven the Seal U & Sealion, all were great cars but I wanted something a bit different. It’s amazing to drive, looks great & feels very powerful, I love it! Would highly recommend DM Keith BYD Leeds.

Purchased a Seal U DM-I from Sam and his team at the Leeds Branch. I have had a self charging Lexus for two years and thought this was the right model to transition to plug in hybrid.
I found the process to be simple and straightforward. Throughout the transaction I received very good communications and good advise.
My final model selection benefited from that advice and I highly recommend them, certainly will be my first port of call when next looking for a BYD vehicle.

Just bought our first hybrid car . This was not what I was expecting to do, but, after visiting BYD Leeds we fell in love with the Seal U and a week later we were driving our brand new car out of the showroom.

Bought a Seal U AWD from the Leeds branch. The car itself and the service, both pre and post sales, are excellent! There were some delays with various things, none of which were attributable to DM Keith themselves, but their team supported all the way and did everything they could and more to get matters resolved. ☆☆☆BRILLIANT CARS SALES ☆☆☆
Went to look for a car for my son whi seen a car here, I'd called the dealer and spoke to Chris who advised that it would be best to leave a deposit as I was unable to get there till the next day l, but if I wasn't happy they would refund me, I was a little dubious bit I did reverse the car.
I went the next day and Chris (manger) was busy dealing with some issues but he directed me to Steve Elliott.
Steve was very helpful and explained everything in detail, answering any questions or concerns.
We took this out on a test drive and even let me go to where my son was working as it was a couple of miles to see the car.
Steve was amazing and his customer service was truly from the heart.
The sales team and others behined the scene worked really hard in the week to get this vehical ready for collection as it had only just arrived.
As it was my sons birthday they put banners and bows on this for his collection and Steve is also getting my son a present for his birthday which what can I say but amazing personal touch.
This garage is very family friendly from the moment walking though the doors to buying a vehical.
I'd definitely be recommending this to others to visit.

Having bought a brand new Cupra on 300624, I experienced issues with the infortainment system a couple of months later. The system shut down, informing the license had expired, rendering the satnav, Bluetooth and radio all ineffective, very stressful when stuck in Birmingham!!!!!!!
Vehicle returned to the garage on 3 occasions, (spent a week in their care in November 2024). Not until the competent sales person, Tom became involved was the issue resolved on 040325, 6 months after the initial report!!!!!
Tom realised the Cupra App had not been installed leading to the many issues endured, quite why or how any other member of their team failed to see this obvious issue is beyond me.
I would like to commend Tom for his competence and capability of fulfilling his role professionally with knowledge of the product being sold, and can only suggest there may be training issues within this branch.
Tom, for me, is an asset to DM Keith, York, and was able to restore my faith in this outlet.
