Lovely breakfast and service. unique and beautiful products .
Floor, window ledges in the conservatory are historically dirty. Old tea stains on radiators.
Toilets are dusty, dirty at the back and bottoms. Sink overflows and around the taps historically dirty. toilet brushes are dirty and dusty.

All the staff are very helpful and they seem pleased to work there

Timperley cafe lovely friendly staff but why close kitchen at 3 pm when the place is full of parents and children wanting food lots of young kids need some warm food after school but you won’t serve it how crazy when you have the facilities staff and customers. ?? Maybe you don’t want to make money and have happy customers. No other country in the world would stop serving hot food at 3 pm

(Dobbies Altrincham) The worst customer service I have ever had. Staff are rude, abrasive and refuse to make food if they don't feel like it leaving children crying and hungry.

I love coming to this garden centre. The staff are always so helpful and cheerful. The food is great. The girls in the restaurant are overworked but are always happy to help and serve with a smile. The fish and chips are excellent.

Just wanted to say how helpful and informative Fiona is. She always has a smile on her face and her knowledge is second to none.

Usual helpful staff found exactly what I wanted - good quality/price

Bought plants that I wanted. However, my Dobbies Plus card has expired and I did not realise that I could still collect points until this was explained to me at the garden centre (so I hadn't taken them). It would be useful to get this information when the Plus card expires.

Lovely coffee in the conservatory which was nice a warm

The garden centre is the same as many others but nicely presented. The "restaurant" appears pleasant until you go to order food. The staff were totally disinterested almost to the point of rudeness. Obviously no training in Customer Service and curt "Yes, next!" not "Can I help you?". Apalling food ham and cheese toastie where the cheese had hardly started to melt, the ham was very fatty and very unappetising. Poor experience and even my 91 year old friend could not finish her meal. We went to RHS Bridgewater last week where they excelled in Customer Service and the food was amazing. No excuses then.

We enjoyed our extra free coffees, always very good coffee. I found plants in seasonal sale excellent value and are now healthily growing in my garden

The staff are always very nice and helpful( if you can find one)! Food is pretty good but sometimes have ‘run out’ of particular dishes even when still during eg lunch times.
A big concern at Altrincham is the toilets. I can only speak about the ladies which is a disgrace with a radiator badly rusted, a hole under the wash basins ,and frankly they need a deep clean!
This has been like this since before Dobbies took over! That’s why I have not given full marks.

Recently visited the cafe with my partner and mother our food order was missing one meal as a result of the member of staff taking the order being too busy talking to other employees
When the missing meal was re ordered and finally arrived it was shoddily presented and mostly burnt
We won’t be rushing back

My friends and I go to the Altrincham store for coffee and tea cake and a wander round the garden centre. We quite often buy plants too which are always goid

Ordered a ceasar salad that was served minus any dressing. Apology given "sorry the staff should have told you" Who serves a salad without its dressing!! Ordered a cheaper option as replacement which was a very basic and tiny brie and bacon toastie. No refund offerred for cheaper option..and very off-hand apology.
