Had a lovely breakfast which was served quickly and by very pleasant staff and a nice look around the garden centre. Bought a tree Staff were very helpful.

We had a very pleasant youg girl serving us our lunch ,i had a toastie which was ok salad leaves could have been better .Our cherry scone was ok with the jam and butter. The tea was disappointing as it was very strong and went cold quickly.

Love having a wander around the store. Bought a plant for my garden after a chat and advice from one of the garden staff. Had coffee and cake, wee treat for my birthday from Dobbies...thank you! Very family and pet friendly, definitely worth a visit.

Relating to cafe only, more staff on counter is needed as the service is extremely slow and the queues build up very quickly

Friendly helpful staff, and a great range of products.

We stopped off for coffee and cake on the way to Perth and whilst there purchased a small wooden bistro set and some plants in the sale. Although the bistro set has two well made chairs, the table will comfortably seat four for coffee in the garden. We are very happy with the purchase.

Far too many customers with dogs and I'm especially against those who walk them through the cafe!!!!

The soft play area in Dobbies at Dunfermline is brilliant. It is all enclosed in a secure area of Dobbies and has a small cafe where grown ups can relax and have a coffee while keeping an eye on the children playing. My nephew just loves it so much that he does not want to leave when the session finishes.

Went for a nice relaxing coffee but unfortunately was very disappointed. There was one lovely lady serving behind the counter doing the best job she could.
She was taking the orders, making the teas & coffees, organising cakes etc.. and on the till 😳 needless to say the queue was way back the shop.
The lady herself was very polite even thou she looked frustrated and extremely hot.
Her hours were 8:30 til 6pm and this was only 2:30.
Then we tried to get a table, this was very difficult as most were full of dishes, again lack of staff.
I wish I knew the ladies name as she deserves a medal 🏅

Found what we had seen elsewhere and also bought a clock to build. Staff were helpful when asked.

You had most of the things I was looking for. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant was clean and staff on the ball

We went for tea and cake and a bit of a shop. Everything was great.
One wee problem.
We were using our Dobbies card and were told a large latte would be covered. When paying, we were charged extra. We did point this out but it was a different server who charged us anyway – he did apologise. Our original server should have known this… Something worth pointing out to the younger ones.
The afternoon tea looked amazing – we hope to go back for that.

You had 2 of the 3 things I was looking for. (1) A bag of compost I could lift myself, I had to look for a while before I found one. (I will be 80 this month). (2) Fat balls for the birds (you had lots of choices there and I bought a big box), (3) A bottle of orchid food like Baby Bio which I did not find. You did have some orchid food of another type, which I decided not to buy. 2 out of 3 is not bad, and I had a nice cup of tea before I left. Thank you.

We visited Dobbies Dunfermline for potting soil, plants and saw a four-seat garden table & parasol. Good size for our garden, despite fact we already had one from Dobbies we decided to buy. Transpires it was the last one available and was the shop model. We took the chairs home in the car following day, and had to return for the table frame because it was too large for the car. On all occasions staff transported potting soil - 4 bags - to the car as I am partly disabled, and again with the table and chairs. All very helpful. Only downside was that your computer system was down so I could not use the balance of my gift vouchers against our purchases.

The girl that dealt with my refund on garden furniture was so helpful went over and beyond her tole to help me

Assistant was so helpful I have mobility problems she listened to my needs helped me choose carried my purchase to the car and was so pleasant
