Pack of Saxifraga Lofty White
I bought a 6 x pack of Saxifraga plants for £8.99. They were quality plants which have now been planted in pots. Very pleased with my purchase.

Dobbies visit and voucher purchase
The coffee was finally piping hot as it is usually lukewarm. It was a new person serving. The slivers of cakes were still far too expensive at £3.99 whilst most garden centre cafes are £3.50 for a larger slice. Premises are always very clean and shop is interesting. The garden centre has a good selection of plants and pots. Lady at the shop till was very pleasant. I used my Dobbies member vouchers and purchased a gift card.

Christmas decorations were fantastic.
Could do better with the sales of tray bakes and cakes
Restaurant lacks variety
Poor Fare
Today I visited Dobbies Inverness for lunch during a journey further north. On entering the restaurant there were very few staff members on duty resulting in queues.
Eventually we purchased a hot meal of fish and chips and then joined another queue to pay for our meal. Having waited at least five minutes to pay we entered the seating area and noticed everyone was wearing jackets, some with hats and gloves. It was only when I removed my jacket did I fully understand why. I have never been in such a cold restaurant in my life.
Whether the temperature in the seating area or the wait to pay was the cause when we started our meal it was luke warm at best. The temperature spoiled the taste and made it very unappealing.
As I was running on a tight schedule and had I extra time I would have returned it but the queues made even the thought of that impossible.
All in all not worth the visit. Dobbies normally provide good fare but this one needs to get its act together.
Dobbies have since replied but did not understand the content of my review. I am not complaining about the wait, it is the temperature of your food and premises, both were cold.

What has happened to your scones
What has happened to your scones? In Inverness they are very flat and messy looking! It was difficult to butter them without them falling apart. Two small pots of jam cost £1.58! However, they did taste fine and they were my birthday treat, so thanks for that.

Real help in the garden centre
Real help in the garden centre, the younge man who transferred my compost purchases to the car was very welcome
Breakfast
Good prices friendly staff only problem was I couldn’t find my birthday email to get my two hot drinks and cakes for free not Dobbies fault
We thoroughly recommend Inverness Dobbies!
We shopped, ate in the restaurant and had a thoroughly pleasant experience from start to finish. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The choice of food was plentiful and reasonably priced. The garden centre well stocked and the gifts and animal section were brimming with products. So much choice!
