I love going to Dobbies. Plants are always fresh and healthy and the store well stocked and tidy.

My first visit to Dobbies Marple was very positive. A wonderful selection of house plants, the best Ive seen. Particularly impressed by the size of the outdoor plant section, so much choice and everything in top condition. The system for buying compost was really helpful. The compost is stored outside and staff will put the bags directly into your car - staff just scan a catalogue picture of what you want, you pay and they do the rest. No heavy lifting!

Not a lot of stock in of what I wanted

Went to Dobbies garden centre in marple yesterday around 10.30 and have to say it was awful. The place obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly and every sofa in the cafe was filthy and badly stained, as was the floors, this seems to be the case at most visits now. I have put some photos on trip advisor to show how bad it was the toilets were also very dirty and again photos on trip advisor in my opinion they need a deep clean.
I have contacted customer service to cancel both mine and my husband Dobbies subscription as we no longer enjoy our time in this very grubby cafe. Dobbies really need to sort this out as there is no excuse for poor cleanliness and sorry to say you really don’t even deserve 1 star

Had my excellent free coffee.
Will be going back again soon.

i come with my wife at least twice a month for coffee & my brothers have now both got clubcards & come with us, it gives us a chance to get together & talk plants & gardens.

Great selection of plants, gifts pet and bird food and many other items. A nice cafe to go for lunch or coffee. The staff are always pleasant.

Great , had coffee and cake managed to pick up some bargains from Xmas sale .

We went early and as my wife is a wheelchair user, we found everything accessable. We purchased what we wanted
The cafeteria was clean and tidy and the counter staff very pleasant

We went for my birthday treat and so we’re able to make other purchases.
As we passed the cards, I remembered a NewYear’s Eve 60th birthday. Happily, there was the perfect card.

Since Dobbies took over there has been a big improvement particularly in the store and cafe. I was thrilled to purchase a Regatta jacket for £27 on this visit- Black Friday.
Staff are always pleasant and helpful at the checkout.

We bought the 30cm standing santa from Dobbies Otterspool.When we arrived home it looked like something was amiss with the santa so we went on line to check the description of the Santa and it should come with a sack.
I returned the next day to check if it was just ours that had the sack missing but after checking all the stock on the shelf they were all missing the sack.I brought it to the attention to a member of staff who informed the manager.I thought they would withdraw all the stock from the shelf as it is not as described on line.But they didn't seemed too concerned really.So beware if purchasing this item it will probably come without the sack.

Staff friendly particularly cafe staff who were working extremely hard,

It was the first time I had been .a lovely day lots to see not just plant and trees. Not the best time of the year . Some of the plants were rather wilted . Never the less I purchased lost of plants . I will say the pansies are looking great in my hanging baskets .it paid to take a chance on them .assistants were very friendly and helpful . Hope to go again soon .

Love the service and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable of plants. The restaurant staff always smiling and willing to help and advice.

Nice friendly garden centre.
A bit on the small size and restaurant does not have a full menu.
