The staff in the coffee shop are especially friendly and kind.
A pleasure to go there.

We had our son’s 3rd Birthday party in the restaurant and soft play area on a Sunday afternoon. This was something I would recommend to others with little prep or tidy up on my behalf making it stress free. The staff were really helpful and attentive the table was ready on arrival and the food was great and they also did alternatives and were careful with food allergies for one of the children. We were a bit disappointed that the food came out a bit earlier than planned, but it didn’t spoil the party and the children had a great time. Lots of the parents commented on what a good venue it was for a party. Thanks Joseph and Danielle

Picked up some half price plants for my hanging baskets & also some reduced items to nurse back to health. Your normal prices are high compared to other garden centres I visit, so probably why you have to do half price offers to sell them !!!

We went into the Cafe on Sunday afternoon for a hot chocolate drink using our Dobbies card. When the young gentleman brought our drinks over, he explained that they had run out of standard sized cups so he had upgraded us to large cups with no extra charge. He was very courteous and friendly and made our day very pleasurable.

Meeting a friend for a coffee. Arrived, ordered and paid for two drinks, took seats as directed by staff. After 35 minutes no drinks had arrived so we had to approach the counter again to ask for them. Apparently the order had been missed.
Once error was highlighted to staff, drinks were made and delivered quickly, team member apologetic and two packs of biscuits added complementary to the tray.

Staff were really friendly and helpful especially as my husband is disabled and needs help walking. Another till was even opened up for us. Everything was great until we went to pick up our compost and the young man supposed to help watched me a 64 year old put the 50litre bags in my boot followed by bags of gravel. He seemed too bothered about getting wet.

On our recent visit to Dobbies we had a free coffee each with our Dobbies gold card spent my £5.50 reward vouchers and 20% off our purchases so we had a fabulous time. Dobbies is our favourite garden centre it has everything for a good outing

Lovely selection of plants at great prices (look great in my garden). Also enjoyed a cup of coffee in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff in all departments.

I needed a replacement base for my patio umbrella. Dobbies staff were very helpful and I managed to get just what I needed. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5 : I dealt with two members of staff who gave slightly differing answers about the two bases available and the one I purchased was a little short on clear assembly instructions. The member of staff at the till kindly arranged for someone to carry the heavy box to my car. I do visit this Dobbies quite often and, although at times the prices are on the high side, on this occasion I felt I got good value.

Good quality of plants also refreshing to see the restaurant improving, check out is good too, well done!!

Visited local Debbie’s for Jubilee afternoon tea. Food was tasty and plentiful and good balance of savoury and sweet. Unfortunately restaurant lacking in atmosphere.

I made some large purchases recently and the staff at the Northampton mereway store were very helpful.

Pleased with quality of runner beans purchased.
Disappointed with slow service at checkout.
Maybe not enough staff manning the tills.
I was third in the queue. The checkout person had problems reading the barcode of one product of the person in front of me and had to call the supervisor to resolve the problem.
The problem is where the queues form the length of a queue at another till cannot be ascertained due to the height of the displays just in front of the tills,

Sadly our experience at Dobbies Garden Centre Restaurant was dire.
We waited so long for our food the hot drinks needed to be replaced, when the food did arrive our order was wrong and needed to be returned to the kitchen.
Another long wait and then the food arrived again, my wife's baked potato was cold, she said please just take it away, after waiting an hour for simple dishes.
The one saving grace was, we were given a full refund, however, many other people were also complaining as the kitchen was in a state of chaos.
The rest of our visit to the Garden Centre was very pleasant.

Liked the selection for both indoors and outdoor. A good variety of plants and accessories. Friendly staff and store very clean. Only disappointment was that I was unable to find any ericaceous compost.

Not enough employees in the outside garden area, so a lot of wasted time looking .Also inregards to the cafe I would have assumed that a company as big as yours would have had decaffeinated coffee but told it is something that isn't stocked in this day and age really
