Very clean and tidy. Very well stocked with a good choice of items to purchase. Also, nice and warm inside which makes browsing so much better.

Has everything for your gardening and entertainment needs. Great cafe and friendly helpful staff.

Just been to Dobbies for breakfast what a joke worst breakfast ever which has just cost me £20 when it finally arrived dried up bacon dried up fried egg utter rubbish

We were able to buy some reduced plants.
So very good value
We always enjoy a meal in the restaurant too!

Rather liked the Cafe at this Garden centre until…. a few weeks ago I went with another couple on a Sunday for a breakfast treat. However on arrival we were told the kitchen was shut apart from light bites, the reason?, the chefs day off 🙈, pretty ridiculous to have a good sized cafe and not be able to service customers, we went elsewhere. Not to be disheartened we revisited today, we arrived a couple of minutes before 11.30 and were immediately told we were to late for Breakfast as it was after 11.30 🙈, both my friends phone and my own showed it was 11.28. Fair enough we left and went elsewhere for three full Breakfasts and three teas, we won’t be bothering with Dobbies Cafe again, the Farmshop cafe we went to had a better Breakfast, staff who wanted to serve and the Bacon and Sausages were awesome. The Managerment at Dobbies needs to get its act together or ship out and let someone who cares take charge.

Very good service. Prices ok. Convenient for me as I live a 5 minute walk away!
Think Christmas stuff, arriving in September, is far too early!

We went to the centre and went to the cafe for a coffee and cake. The elderly lady in the cue in front was asking for a cooked breakfast just as a female cook came out and said no more breakfasts. It was still slightly before cut off time and as the customer said she had been waiting in line 10 minutes.
The customer then asked the cook if she could still have a breakfast; she curtly replied ‘well there will be items missing’ so the customer asked ‘what is available’ the cook rudely snapped ‘I don’t have time to talk to you’.

This was terrible customer service! The elderly lady was not in the wrong. The customer then said actually I will leave it due to you been so rude. The cook huffed and puffed then said to another customer ‘this is just what I come for work for on a Sunday morning; to be shouted at’.
Terrible I hope the old lady customer complained. Not good enough and awful to witness.

Visited today, garden centre very good, restaurant very disappointing, had a birthday complementary coffee and cake for 2 had coffee and scones, the scone’s looked and tasted awful, and had to pay for the jam and cream, the coffee was nice though

Excellent shop with lovely staff etc - my only gripe was that some products did not display the price tags very prominently. I looked everywhere on one of the troughs for a price and could not find it, so ended up not buying it.

i enjoyed my visit to dobbies and had a good Brouse round and bought two indoor plants and staff at the till were pleasant helpful

Visiting the Garden centre last Saturday we were disappointed to find that in the cafe the usual cup and saucer and teapots had been replaced with ‘builders mugs’ ! These may be ok in a transport cafe but please not in our garden centre cafe. A more refined quality would have been a better choice if we have to have mugs. Also the choice of cake/ buns/scones on a Saturday afternoon is very poor. A nice scone or similar would be a good choice. Never any available ! On a plus side the staff are always pleasant. We do buy plants also !

I went for things on my list, saw some other 'bargain' offers, so I got them too! I also was able to claim extra points which made the trip doubly worthwhile.

Visited Shelley for coffee and cake at 1.45pm yesterday. The cake choice was very meagre, what we had was nice, but portion sizes reduced. A bit disappointed, I could have understood if it had been 4.30pm. I could also have understood the smaller portion sizes had the cake been the same price, but £3.75 seems a bit on the steep side to have a smaller portion too.
