When I enquired where to find something, the member of staff said every thing was out on display!
Otherwise, positive experience.

Our visit was on a weekday and the garden centre was relatively quiet which enabled us to spend a comfortable couple of hours perusing the stock. We bought a number of plants, some seedlings and bulbs. We also bought a gift for our daughter (a reusuable water bottle/flask) which she absolutley loves!
We had a coffee in the cafe and I used a gift voucher as part payment. This proved a little difficult but eventually it worked.
Overall a very pleasant afternoon and very pleased with our purchases. We'll have to wait and see how the bulbs and plants fare now they are planted but so far so good!

Very happy with our purchase and the variety of goods on offer. Disappointing that the cafe is still not serving hot meals.

The cafe always has a advert for 'specials' on the tables and the cheese and bacon scones sound tempting but they are never available. Why advertise items you do not stock?

Great garden Centre, lots of plants a garden items for sale. Lovely cafe with play area for young children. Great offers available through membership.

The staff are helpful but some of the labelling is incorrect and there is nothing they can do about it to correct the false advertising of products for sale.ie advertising on the shelf an offer price but at the till it is a dearer price.. A customer at shelf warned us it could happen and it did! So you are getting a reputation for false advertising of products Not good enough and perhaps illegal?

Great discounts and a good range of products. Saved money by having a Dobbies card in one purchase

I am a member of Dobbies club and find the offers very good. Especially the vouchers for the cafeteria. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and obliging.

Nice, clean garden centre with good stock and plenty of parking. Helpful staff Nice restaurant with an adequate menu but is rather too cold in winter and availability of menu items has been sporadic for months - maybe understandable during these virus blighted times. Price of goods, like most garden centres seems quite high but there is a nice selection. Reward scheme offering two free coffees each month, plus an extra coffee and cake on your birthday is very good at £12 per year. Overall, well worth a visit.

We had a great cup of coffee and a lovely cherry scone. The service was initially slow then it picked up and was good.
There was a great range of stuff in the sale section and I was able to get some very good things with 50% of great.

The reason you have four stars instead of five is because on the last few times of visiting the restaurant has been short of staff I.e.the chef left so no hot meals are available only cake or drinks which is a bit of a pain for breakfast or lunch, you have a very good menu when it’s available and I feel sorry for the manager and staff who try and offer some kind of service. This is in no way a complaint about the team who work there they are brilliant.

After visiting Dobbies in Royston today I was very disappointed! It’s gone completely down hill recent with food coming out burnt or getting there to not be serving food at all.

Today I phoned to check they were serving food to bit have a wasted journey they said they were. When I got there as it open at 9 the place was disgusting and dirty cake all over the floor from the day before. Staff just standing around I was then told they were doing food!! The place was so cold my children wouldn’t play so it was a totally wasted journey.

Great place I go here regularly nice staff and great layout

My favourite big garden centre despite having three to choose from near me, lots of choice, parking and a great selection of plants and hardware at competitive prices.
