From the moment we arrived we experienced excellent service from all the Cafe’ Staff with delicious food. The area was also spotlessly clean with a very welcoming ambience.
We look forward to visiting again.

I recently went to Dobbies in Royston. Although the plant area looked very nice, I was a little surprised about a member of staff. He seemed nice enough but kept asking if I was looking for anything particular and wouldn’t stop talking. I felt as if I could not have a look around without being followed by the member of staff. This would have been a four or five star rating if I was able to look around without feeling pressured into buying something. If I needed help with anything surely I could of asked the member of staff and not have him hassling to buy. Sorry Dobbies but not a great experience this time

No negative issues. Polite youngsters in the cafe, good value food and drink and some interesting plants in the gardening area. One of which i bought!!

I enjoy visiting dobbies. I usually buy my bedding plants there and sometimes treat myself to something else. The cafe is a bit disappointing because there is often a lack of choice but what is available is usually good quality

Helpful, friendly and smiling staff; went in for a retractable washing line which I needed but which wasn't available so left instead with lovely comfortable garden chair which I didn't know I needed

My wife and I had coffee and scones today,delicious as always

We find Jeremy and his restaurant team always friendly and welcoming

Visited the store to replace a gas cylinder.
Ok I understand a store can run out some items
But when I enquire when the gas would be back available, the answer I got was who knows your quest is as good as mine mate when I asked could you be more precise they just laughed and walk away I will not be back in a hurry

Dobbies are The Best! I bought gorgeous sunshine yellow (my late husband's favourite colour) 3 piece Bistro Set. It was on display as entered store and literally called out " buy me"!! - so I did. It sits happily in my front garden, is joy to sit at with several cuppas, has been much admired and I absolutely love it! Even on a grey day it's bright, cheerful, very well made and worth every penny!!

We regularly visit this Garden Centre even though we have many nearer. All the plants are displayed in excellent condition with a wide variety. Prices are reasonable and there are often offers. Inside the store there is a wide variety of good to browse including a very good cafe area that had been revamped. It is a joy to visit, can recommend.

Why is it that every weekend, no chef is available and the cafe only sells tea, coffee and cake. Once or twice you can accept, but now every weekend is very poor and that’s with the new chef. No Sunday full English breakfast, no meals. I used to enjoy coming here but will now take my business to another garden centre where I can peruse the plants and look forward to some food at the same time. By the way most of the staff are very polite and apologetic but that one who served us yesterday was just plain rude, he was new as I hadn’t seen him before. Bad experience that’s gets worse every week. Shame because the garden centre itself have a good selection of plants etc although expensive are good quality but it’s really let down by cafe. The chalk board apologising for the lack of food as you enter garden centre makes us laugh because it’s the new norm. It would be a shock if the chalk board was to say that food is being served 🤣 hahaha

We went for a birthday treat expecting to have a sandwich as the last one we had was lovely. We could on have a hot meal or cake.

Staff friendly and helpful and dealt with our request. Food was excellent.

Good selection of plants and everything gardener would need . As always the cafe is excellent providing a good selection of meals in a clean environment - staff are very helpful .
