Had a lovely lunch in the cafe and reasonably good value

Very good service by all staff. Enjoyed a bit of fish and chips while there.

Good value for money with on the day discount and using my Dobbies card

Good choice, great staff but bit pricy

Went to cafe for lunch hardly anything left on menu.
Had steak & Ale pie crust was hard and it was served with burnt vegetables.
We had to wait 40 minutes for hot drinks, will not be going back.

I used to visit Dobbies frequently for the restaurant and soft play but am becoming increasingly frustrated by the slow service in the restaurant and it puts me off visiting. Most times I visit I have had to wait up to 30 mins for my order to be taken, usually watching other customers who come in later getting served first and several staff milling around doing nothing in particular. It seems that customers in the soft play area tend to get forgotten about, and supervising little ones in the soft play whilst simultaneously trying to get someone’s attention is frustrating. I’ve heard other parents complaining too.

Once the food/drinks finally arrive the quality is OK on the whole, although cakes often seem a bit stale.

Lovely store, well stocked and friendly staff although not enough staff in the cafe in my opinion and they should all have access to the ipad to put through customers orders.

Went to Dobbies last week for my cats food and realised they had a kitchen department, I then purchased a nice egg poacher, at the checkout I decided to join the loyalty scheme and take up the offer of a free coffee. We went to the restaurant and was told to take a seat and someone would take our order, so we sat and waited and waited and waited, we couldn't catch the waitresses eye at all, another couple came in and sat behind us and within minutes had their order taken, at this point we got up and left. I was very dissapointed with the service, but will try again next time I visit

Really good service got just what I wanted

Waited over 20 minutes to be served in the restaurant, others who arrived after us were served. This had happened to us before. We left on this occasion as did other people!

You had what I wanted and also got a £1 off due to being a club card plus customer

Very helpful young lady on the til, who quickly signed us up to the club and saved us money.

By observing other customers we became aware that to get an order taken you would be waiting less if you went to the till -the girl was helpful but again fresh cream scones were off the menu -we had gone specifically to have some with our free drinks -rather disappointed

Very good visit, good selection of plants and other items. Good selection of food which we enjoyed and staff were helpful.

20% is a good reduction. The Staff were pleasant and courteous.

Great staff - They gave me precise answer when I have doubt and provided additional information on top of what I needed.
Great product selection, quality of the plants are great.
I will try the food in the next visit, also the fish and meat from the shop at the entrance - looks good.

This was a good visit mainly due to the excellent service in cafe and checkout. Cheerful helpful staff throughout, a somewhat uncommon feature nowadays. Item purchased were fine and at a fair price

My local Dobbies at Shenstone is like a community hub. The atmosphere is so welcoming, there are always beautiful displays and the food at the restaurant is excellent quality & value. My free cup of coffee with my Dobbies card is a real treat.
