I like Dobbies
I like Dobbies, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the quality of the plants (my reason for going) is generally very good. Not always the cheapest, but the range of plants on offer is usually good, so that counts in their favour.
I’m made to feel welcome! That definitely counts for me.!

Great value for money
There is a great selection of plants with reasonable prices.
There are many other things that are available that have good prices including frozen foods and lovely things you can give as presents.
The Dobbies card gives you further discount on plants.
The staff are always very helpful, kind and courteous.
I would recommend a visit and having something to eat and drink in the café. Beautiful cakes, sandwiches and hot food.

Just what we we were after.

Very slow service in cafe. Four people behind machine, but only one working at any time. No organisation. Tables were being cleared and cleaned.

Excellent garden centre
A very good garden centre where the plants are in good health and vet well displayed. We had hot drinks in the cafe for free with our advantage card which we live as it makes it feel special.

Mixed feelings
Popped into the Sainsburys outlet there and managed to get some good reduced items. This is a useful place to pick up a few groceries.
Bought a few houseplants with 20% discount offer.
The prices in some areas seem to have gone up somewhat. Checkout was slow.

Shepton mallet
Shop very good. Staff good too. Restaurant not very good. No manager or chef. Drinks as good as usual as were those working but totally understaffed. Felt very sorry for workers who were very over worked but still remained very pleasant.
