Love this garden centre , staff are always there to help with a smile

Great service, plenty of choice and a lovely cup of coffee too

Only one checkout available, therefore Hugh queue, although a call to staff brought more till staff reasonably quickly. Shocked at how expensive plants were.

Just went to dobbies for a couple of things, came out with some good quality bargains, food was good as well

What amazing garden staff you have. I go to many garden centres and I have to say Julie and Simon at Dobbies are the most helpful and always happy to answer any questions you have about the plants. A real credit to Dobbies. Thank you Julie and Simon .

Only 1 cashier & a long que of people waiting to pay. Eventually someone was found to help but she obviously did want to be called to help. No apology, hello or goodbye

Garden centre is lovely but the restaurant is going down hill. The last three times I have been there has been no food available just cakes. It not good when you are lovely forward to a lovely breakfast or lunch to be told no food. I get this can happen occasionally but not everytime you go there. Please sort it out otherwise you will lose a lot of customers. This has not only happened to me.

Very happy with everything at Dobbies apart from the Ladies toilets
There was no soap or hand sanitizer and the bins were overflowing
Also air fresheners are needed it wasn’t pleasant when we opened the door
Cleanliness also seemed to be a big problem in the restaurant the floors under the tables especially.
Staff in the restaurant lovely

The cafe is in need of more staff to run it to a acceptable level.

We just popped in for coffee and cake this time, nice food and drink lovely staff as always.

We were helped with our purchase by a lady called Lynne. She bent over backwards to help. The warehouse man called Stuart also was of great help in that he assisted with loading our car with a big purchase and this saved us £25 delivery charge. Excellent staff

Being a regular user of Dobbies restaurants, I was very annoyed to find dogs are now allowed at any table, whereas previously they were restricted to their own area.

Stopped for coffee about 2.30. Many tables had dirty crockery on them. We were there for about 30 minutes and saw no cleaning done at all. Disappointed.

I have been visiting Dobbies regularly for years.
I find most your staff in the restaurant very distant and unfriendly.

As I used to work in that industry myself I know from personal experience that you get to know your regular customers. From Dobbies staff you never get a smile or a glimmer of recognition. I always try and be polite and treat them respectfully but I am afraid the same doesn't apply to most of to them.
There is one exception and that is Gary who is usually clearing tables on a Thursday.

I found what I wanted very easily and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to find a particular plant.
Dobbies is a great place to shop for so many things.

The service is always exceptional and the cafe has greatly improved on the cleanliness. I enjoy going to visit as the shop is always well laid out and it is easy to find what you need.

Staff very helpful in showing me to the plant I was looking for.

I was looking for Cucumber and Tomato plants and the choice was poor and some of the plants were well past their best.
