We took our toddler to Dobbies soft…
We took our toddler to Dobbies soft play for the first time. There was no real sign or explanation for check in. So we sat at a table (literally for 5 minutes) thinking someone would come to check the confirmation email. But instead we were greeted by a highly unpleasant woman who grumbled that we had to go to the cafe till (the queue was loooooong) in order to check in. I did it, it's no big deal. I just wish the lady had been nicer considering we're not mind readers. It's only a children's soft play... Everyone else in the shop and cafe were lovely.

Went for a run in the car to Stirling…
Went for a run in the car to Stirling and stopped at Dobbies Stirling for coffee on the way home, big mistake.
By the time we queued for food and drink and then joined the queue at the cash desk by the time we found a table all was cold. The staff are very slow at serving people. Also the toilets are filthy, won’t be back.

Overpriced cake
We went for coffee and cake. My wife had slice of carrot cake which was dry. I had a slice of coffee and walnut cake. It was half the size of the slice of cake my wife got. For the prices Dobbies charge for a slice of cake it adds up to £60 for the whole cake. These prices are shocking for what you get.

I enjoyed my visit to Dobbies
I enjoyed my visit to Dobbies, I came in to enjoy the 20% off and bought dog food and some items for Christmas now they were on offer. Staff were very friendly. All good.
Restaurant was quite busy with people…
Restaurant was quite busy with people buying mostly breakfasts and hit drinks however only two till for paying and lengthy queue which moved slowly so food was getting cold , adding to the fact if you were wanting to pay for the play zone that was also at these tills , needs a much better layout and more tills for busy times , would not recommend a visit .

More like a kennel than garden centre.
Visit ruined by the number of dogs in centre especially the ones on extending leads.
There was one in the restaurant the size of a Shetland Pony no need to be there.

Cafe experience dreadful
Cafe experience dreadful. Food and coffee cold before we got served at till.
Only 1 on tills
Also annoyed that we lost all our free coffee accumulated during covid. Had 8 left.
Like dobbies but going to stop using the restaurant
Excellent breakfast.
Help to the car.
I couldn't find all the plants l wanted. It was a shame that they were not in alphabetical order. However I did get plenty of reduced plants. Plus I did get a bag of bark to mulch the garden and as it was heavy a young man very kindly took and lifted it into my car.

Huge q at till no staff serving.
The coffee was substandard
The coffee was substandard. It came from a push- button machine, even though there was a fully operational barista machine nearby. I asked why the barista machine wasn't being used and was told it produced quicker coffee. I believe the real reason was that they didn't want to clean it out. I don't want faster access to an inferior coffee from an inferior machine, thank you.
Lovely coffee and cake for my birthday…

Door to new shed fitted wrong side. Staff aren't taking responsibility for there error
I purchased a 2.6k shed with door fitted on my left hand side not my right, I was facing the direction of the door if I was leaving my shed when ordering. The sales rep Mandy stands by that this is what I asked for and agreed to, the door fitted on my left hand side. My veiw of perspective in final sketches was that the windows were on opposite side to the door hinges . Well the hinges are same side as the window . She also sent me an email to her manager by mistake saying I'm overstepping the line by vocalising my distress at this mistake. I'm asking that dobbies pay for the new door to be fitted on my right hand side (£400) as if I was facing the door from inside cabin. But I'm being ignored. And Malvern the supplier say I don't appear to know my left from my right. Customer service is astoundingly bad in my opinion and offensive I'd have thought having a customer happy was important to them. I'm sure any liability insurance dobbies have would cover this error. So next time one wants to take a right then take a left and avoid Dobbies Stirling shed department!
