Spoke to manager about egg chair bought and how label was misleading as it gave details of cover but on delivery of goods it was not included. He agreed that label was misleading, said he would report this and offered to order one fir me free of charge. Excellent customer service.

Staff member Julie at Donnington Telford, was rude and unapologetic to both myself and daughter-in-law. After enduring an extremely long wait to purchase our items we asked what was the problem with the checkout we had been queuing at (along with 8-10 other customers) before moving across to her checkout, she told us it was because customers were signing up for loyalty cards and then rudely said we are providing customer service to our customers, if that’s ok?? After checking our receipts (approximately £130 between us) Obnoxious Julie had double scanned an item, we went back in and asked the young man on the checkout that had been signing up the customers if he could call for a manager for us please. Guess who came! JULIE, when we explained her error she replied ‘that’s not a problem’ and proceeded to correct the error. At this point I informed her I’d asked for a manager as I’d found her approach to be rude earlier and now after over charging she did not offer an apology. She said she was one of the managers and she was here dealing with us. She handed the till receipt over and said she didn’t need the bank card to process the refund. I stood and waited for an apology which she didn’t offer, so I prompted ‘an apology would be appreciated’ Julie did then say ‘sorry about that’ i, and other customers were visibly disappointed by Julie’s lack of concern and common courtesy towards myself and other customers. Maybe some basic customer care courses could be arranged, her attitude is not one to encouraged especially in front of junior staff, if she is indeed a manager.

The service in the restaurant is very slow, seemed very short staffed and waitress trying to clean tables and serve food, ridiculous! Waited 30 minutes for coffee, what is going on??

Service has gone terrible since Emily left, my wife and I went for scones and a drink unfortunately it took 25 minutes for the drinks to come, and the amount of tables that are dirty and uncleared is disgusting. Bring back Emily.

Poor in garden supplies, appears
to becoming more of a gift type retail outlet. Although still known as a garden centre??

It was a generous gesture by Dobbies to give both my wife and myself a free drink and cake.
We were most impressed and have told our friends about the advantages of having a Dobbies Card

As always, the Staff make the shopping experience. Staff in both Store and Restaurant are always very polite, helpful and professional.

Our experience of dobbies has been fantastic, not only the quality of the products but also the cafe and soft play. The staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Seedlings is a great offering for children too!

Had to swap something and it was a very easy process

The store is set out very well. There is plenty of stock. Store was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice to have discount ,was served quickly ,found what I wanted

My daughter and I love the restaurant and usually enjoy a coffee on a Friday with my twittear old grandson who uses the play barn. However this visit was not good. There were children well over the recommended age of 8. Several were unsupervised and rowdy. They were removing the soft play items and either using them to sit on and obstruct spaces or weaponising them. It was unsafe for my grandson even with me and my heavily pregnant daughter supervising him and we had to keep removing him from the area. I notified the staff at the till and the manager came to discuss this. Unfortunately the behaviour continued throughout our visit. The other children did not seem to be being limited on time. None of the rules seemed to be being observed by several children from the same family. This has made us reluctant to return.

Convenient location with the plants I wanted available plus some bonus plants from the clearance section.

Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming and helpful staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady took the time to help us and get the item we were looking for out the back.
