Having had a very bad experience with our previous accountants, who made grave errors, both in filing a tax return and our company accounts, it was with huge relief when Dolan Accountancy was recommended to us from a trusted adviser.
Imran Salam immediately set to work on understanding what errors had taken place, why these had occurred and how he could and would make every effort to resolve these problems in a very tight timescale.
We were both impressed and extremely grateful for Imran's understanding, care and outstanding efforts that he made on our behalf to make the necessary changes in such a fast turnaround time.

We have recently started using Dolan Accountancy after being let down by a previous accountant. Dolan were quick to rectify all the mistakes made and have put us on the right track going forward. I was able to focus on customers and make money because Dolan had my back. They sorted out all the accounting details I sadly still do not understand (because I simply don’t care). And what a great partnership that is - I get more space in my brain and make more money because of their support. Use them - you will not regret it

These people filed my tax submitting my yearly earning twice among other mistakes.... leading HMRC to try and charge me an additional £15,000.

After not trading for a year and PAYING them the close my company, one year later, they have not done closed it and not filed any other papers....meaning I have an additional £100 charge from HMRC.

Save yourself some trouble and find someone competent.

I came to Dolan Accountancy at very short notice to prepare my year end company accounts. They managed to get our accounts and personal tax returns completed and submitted on time despite this. They were very well organized and helpful. I love the Free Agent software you get access to as part of the service, which linked directly to my bank account. Thank you for such an excellent quality of service.

Used Dolan as a ltd company contractor - accountant was highly professional and on point.. made everything very easy to understand and to keep on track.. Handovers for when my assigned accountant was away. Very good!

After contacting several large and small accountancy companies, I eventually chose Dolan Accountancy to sign up with. Since they took over my company accounts I have received excellent advice and service. They are prompt and proactive in answering my questions and resolving my queries. They are polite and professional while still coming across as friendly and approachable. I highly recommend this relatively new company. I can see they doing well in the future.

I've been with Dolan Accountancy since launching my company when they helped me with the initial set-up, all the way through to submission of cessation accounts and company liquidation. Dolan have been fantastic through this process! I contacted a number of accountancy firms in the initial stages and all of them were unwilling to help me run a limited company whilst operating as self-declared as inside-IR35 (prior to April 2020), but Dolan took it in their stride and were phenomenal with their work and dedication. I can't praise them enough! My dedicated accountant, Angelika, was brilliant and helped me re-submit an earlier period of accounts for pension payments and take full advantage of the inside-IR35 classification that I was using. I'd highly recommend Dolan and hope to continue using them far into the future for help with my personal tax returns.

Dolan were my accountants for a year while I was doing some contracting between jobs, and I found them to be extremely professional, helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

In the nearly two years that I have been using Dolan, Jaman has been nothing but friendly, professional, approachable, patient and knowledgeable. I have never had to wait for more than a few hours for a response to a question and any response I have had back, whatever the complexity of what I may have asked, has been clear, concise and accurate. I have recieved a truely world class service.

Accountants seem over worked and cannot really give you the time for advice when it is needed, often receiving passive aggresive responses. In addition, requests to prepare for deadlines always seem to be a bit last minute/disorganised.

They have positioned themselves as IR35 specialists and this is not true

The team at Dolan helped me with my personal tax return at sort notice (one day before the deadline). Helped with advice on rental income, capital gains, allowable expenses and use of my partners tax free allowance. All at a very reasonable price. A highly recommend company.

Been with Dolan since I started my company in May 2018 and have to say that they have made my experience of setting up and running a company easy. Everyone that I've had the pleasure of dealing with at Dolan has done everything they can to assist me in a timely manner.
Other people I know have started companies at similar times also now have their accountancy services through Dolan, having first tried others and being disappointed.

All the staff are incredibly personable and nice but most importantly, resolve all my queries super fast. They are also really proactive (read they are good at chasing me ;)) at ensuring I submit all paperwork on time. A dream to work with.
