Gave it a tryout today, seems to work fine, subject to more practice at installing it by all members of the office staff; probably deserves a 5-star rating. Our idea, since our office doors can't be locked from the inside, is to use Doorjammer as a quick and effective obstacle to any intruder. At first try it took a few minutes to see how to adjust it. With practice we hope, and need it, to go much quicker. Seems to be very solid and resisted all efforts to push or pull door open. The cost is a factor in our not necessarily wanting to order more, since there's a lot of offices in our institution looking for effective devices, but with a limited budget.

it is very sturdy and will do the job just fine

Doorjammer fulfilled its promises from start to finish. Easy to order; arrived very timely; works as promised; looks as promised; weighs as promised. I am a fan.

Ordering very easy, haven't made many purchases on-line. Was kept informed, package arrived within a few days. Item was intact and what I expected. Bought for my daughter who is going overseas. Tested it at home and looks like it will do the job and give peace of mind.

Good product and fast delivery.

Great item but having a difficult time securing with a raised wooden door strip. It is better with a door with no raised wooden strips or door weather strip. Hotel doors would work best!

Works great in my daughter's apartment. The chain lock was anchored in plaster and maintenance repaired it back in to plaster. This holds the door securely but will easily open from the inside with a quick pull in case of emergency. Makes us all feel safer. Thank you!

Purchased product for my daughter. Very pleased with simple rigid functions. She will surely travel with it.

Great product

We purchased the DoorJammer for when we go on vacation. With the way the world is today you can never be to careful. You never know when someone else might have access to your condo or hotel room. We have not yet been on vacation yet but will be in about a month. However we have tried this at home and it held our door securely. Who would have thought that a device this small could hold a door so well. We initially put it on incorrectly since we were able to open the door quickly but when we followed the instructions the 2nd time it held the door extremely well. There is also a quick release so if in an emergency you need to exit the door you can. This DoorJammer is metal and is very well made. It comes with a great little bag so you can easily take it with you. It even fits in a purse. The DoorJammer is slightly smaller than my cell phone which is amazing. The DoorJammer is very portable and yet very sturdy.

I bought this for my daughter who is a single parent with my first grandchild. She doesn't have a very secure lock on her apartment door. I feel a lot safer with her using the door jammer. I can rest easier knowing that they are safe inside. :) Thanks to whoever invented this wonderful product!!

If you are concerned about hotel room intrusions, this is a robust product that is likely to withstand many of the most common forced-entry attempts.

I have not used this yet, as it is a present, but I was very impressed with this company as by mistake I purchased two. They rang to check, and I informed them that sorry only 1.

Although the product appears to be well made and useful, be prepared to be badgered by email to provide a review. After resisting the multiple requests which started immediately after receiving my DoorJammer (and before I had even had a chance to use it) I am now providing this review in an attempt to stop being constantly bugged by the company.
In summary - a good product but supplied by a business that has little understanding of how to relate to customers.

I have been looking for something like this for years. Extra security for the home or rental property. It can be use as extra security for your room if sharing accommodation with others. What I like the best is that you can bring it with you when travelling as it very light but strong and it's extra security for hotels and airbnb.
If travel insurance is a must when traveling so should this door jammer for peace of mind at night.

The little red door stopper arrived on time and in a nice box and inside the door jammer device was in a small pull sting bag which is convenient for travel . It really is small and easy to pack .

The plastic extension is not good enough. You should change it to a material that is stronger.
