Due to an awkward living room room layout, a hinged door was not an option for the opening leading to the hallway.
We spoke to Edward at Doors 4 UK, and he suggested a frosted glass sliding door with brushed silver hardware to do the job.
It looks stunning overall, and when closed, the frosted door really gives you that cocooned privacy we were after, but you can still see when there is movement in the hallway.

This company took £1400 from me in December 2023 and did not supply the doors. A month or so later they went into liquidation and set up with virtually the same name a little while later. I was told by Scott who worked for both versions of this company that I would be refunded. I’m yet to receive a penny and the liquidators have just informed me that I won’t be. These people are not to be trusted. There are enough honest companies out there I’ll be using in future.

Avoid. This is a fraudulent business. Assume all positive reviews are fake. Stole £8k. Asked for final £4k days before they went into ‘voluntary liquidation’. Eduardo Tincu was the director. Set up as a new company immediately with Nicoleta Tincu (accountant of previous business) now the director (Ref Companies House). Eduardo Tincu works for this ‘new business’ (Ref his facebook page). Our doors (that had been delivered to them) were cleared out and we assume stolen by ‘new’ company. After Ms Tincu ‘Acquired’ (‘seriously this is how they present it on their website’) the Doors4UK business they are now passing themselves off under different names - DeLux ideas…DeLux Group. Turen.shop. All spelt or presented slightly differently everywhere..which tells you everything. It is a nonsense. Same fraudulent people. Insolvency services powerless. We are now going to the police.

I had to come on here and give this company a great review! I wasn’t sure which doors to choose but the team were so helpful that we eventually chose the timber pocket doors.

Ordered a timber door, just been delivered and I am very pleased with the finish and quality! Saw a few negative reviews online, so was skeptical, however they went above and beyond my expectations!! Will defo buy from them again

Just had a set of internal doors fitted and have to say how pleased i am with them. Was looking for an 'industrial' look to go with my decor, so went with an aluminium and glass product. Happy with the price and the installation. Was worried about previous reviews, but nothing to worry about. Will be buying again when need more

Gone into liquidation after taking a £1.4k deposit October 2023. This Company did not reply to phones calls or emails after taking money. The director/ owner has set up another company called Deluxe Ideas Ltd 30th October 2023 with the same sector description. This director knew his business was failing yet still took orders and peoples money... AVOID AT ALL COST

Made an order in September 2023, paid 50% and now been told they have gone in administration. No idea who are the administrators to obtain further info.

We ordered a lead lined door and frame to be fitted in November. They have been paid if full. Day before fitting they claimed it was stuck in customs.

Since then zero contact. They don’t answer calls or emails. HMRC advised that the paperwork we were told was an issue was actually meant to be filed by them not the exporters. So they lied to us then.

Scam artists. Don’t risk your money. Find someone reputable.

We have paid £5000 for our door on our CBCT room and they are not answering any calls. I fear we have had our money stolen.

Since ordering and paying £2000, no one is picking up the phone or returning emails. I have no idea where our order is and cannot make contact. Extremely worried!

***Update- I have been told by another company that they are being re named Deluxe Ideas LTD, this company was incorporated before I placed my order.***

My door was installed 04 July 2023 however the architrave was cut to the wrong size and left me with a hole in the wall and a missing skirting board. This went back into production and was scheduled to be rectified on the 18 Sep 2023. I was informed on the day that the piece was incorrect (having been in production for 2 months) and the fitting was cancelled on the day. I was provided a further date as this piece had to ‘go back into production’ and was told the repair could be made yesterday (Wed 14 Dec) however since confirming this date with me Doors4UK has failed to respond to any of my emails or calls.

They offer a very wide range of doors and styles and the quality cannot be compared to the standard British doors at all. When you say German you say quality from all point of views. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable and I'm really happy with my new doors. Would 1000% recommend!

We had an entrance to flat and 3 glass doors fitted. Very pleased with all products so far. Doors4UK were competitive in their pricing and the two fitters made a superb job with the installation. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the communication could have been better. However, everything else was fine, and we are overall satisfied with the service and products provided by Doors4UK.

The service provided by everyone at Doors4UK was truly exceptional, with each person being nice, helpful, and highly skilled in their role. The price we paid was fair considering the excellent quality we received. The only minor downside was encountered was the relatively long lead time, but despite that, our overall experience with Doors4UK has been undeniably positive.

We've purchased a set of French doors with fixed panels on each side in the industrial style and we are delighted with the result. I wasn't convinced of this style at the beginning but my husband convinced me in the end and I must sat that this is the best decision we could have ever make. The way they change the esthetic of our living room and the light that is coming through is unbelievable. We encountered some minor issues during installation but the fitters came back the next day to fix them and the final result looks amazing. Thank you Doors4UK!

We had 4 doors fitted at the beginning of last month and they are superb - we chose to have the laminate finish because we have a dog and this type of finish is scratchproof and also very easy to maintain, not to mention the cost, which was very reasonable. We are really happy with our new doors and the outcome.
