Wrong window and hardly discounted.
Purchased a miss measured window, one delivered opened on the opposite side to one purchased (yes I re checked the photos).
Ended up replacing the window again very soon after from another supplier and found that doors4u was neither cheap or the best of quality in comparison. Wouldn't bother with again unless urgent.

Apologies for the mixup. We would have happily corrected this it had it been communicated to us back in May when we delivered the window. Now that it’s nearly Christmas, I’m sure you’ll find stock cheaper on our website as we have our Christmas sale on as well with heavy discounting to make way for new stock in the new year. We look forward to welcoming all customers, new and old.

I believe the costs were far too expensive. I was quoted one thing told during the process how much these parts would cost including the labour. I expected something round just over 1k but when I got the bill it was more than double that.
I think I've been overcharged unnecessarily.

Great door at a fantastic price
Great door at a fantastic price. Everything we needed was there.
Only downside was the delivery, which only involved a very old driver who needed me (back surgery 6 months ago!) to help take it indoors.

There was nothing which made the experience great.
The first door which arrived had obscure glass rather than clear as requested. The door wouldn't open, I called you, and you said that I might have to force it a bit to open it, I didn't and waited for a fitter to do it, he assured me that the lock was broken [the top two bolts did not move when handle operated], in fairness, when I reported this, I was told that a new door would be sent out - it was, but it was damaged on the hinges, it had the clear glass as requested, but it was the wrong hand. I decided to fit the newly arrived door as my fitter was on site, but he could not rehang the door on the hinges after fitting the frame, as there was not enough play, and the hinges had to be cropped to allow enough height to hang the door

Regarding the glass specification, we reviewed the original order and found no mention of a request for clear glass. We shared this information with you to clarify that the order was fulfilled based on the details provided at the time. That said, we did agree over the phone to send a clear glass unit as a gesture of goodwill.
As discussed we agreed to a right hinged door and you confirmed this would be acceptable and we proceeded.
Concerning the hinge alignment, these doors are manufactured to standard specifications used by a major DIY retailer and typically do not require adjustment by a competent installer. We understand every installation has its own challenges, but these are outside the scope of our responsibility.
We aim to provide accurate service and clear communication at every step, and while we regret that this experience has not been satisfactory for you, we will be including this clarification in our response to your public review.

I'm sorry you feel this way – it’s never our intention to leave a customer feeling disappointed.
We understand the importance of in-person service, and we always aim to accommodate requests wherever possible. However, in this case, due to extremely heavy traffic (a 45-minute drive over just 8 miles, as schools had just broken up), we called to offer an alternative—such as sending photos via WhatsApp or arranging a visit at a different time. Unfortunately, the conversation became tense, and when we highlighted the tone being used, we were told not to bother attending.
We did try to follow up and rearrange, but our call went unanswered.
We value every customer and are always willing to find a solution that works. If you'd still like to go ahead, we're happy to reschedule at a convenient time.
