Defective product+ over charged
I purchased a defective product and tried to resolve the issue instore, but my warranty claim was refused because I no longer had the paper receipt, despite having proof of payment. I was forced to dispute the transaction through my bank. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I later received a payment reminder with additional reminder fees and was repeatedly sent back and forth between customer service and the store, with no one taking responsibility.
The entire process was unnecessarily frustrating and poorly handled. Customer service was unhelpful, and I felt like I was being passed around rather than assisted.
I will never shop at Douglas again, and I will discourage others from doing so based on my experience.

Perfume smells completely different from the store tester
I ordered Lancome Miracle online from Douglas. The perfume smells completely different from the tester in the store. The scent is not just less long-lasting — it is actually unpleasant and chemical-like.
Douglas refused to accept a return and referred to discussions on the internet about reformulation. However, this explanation makes no sense because the tester in the physical store smells different from the bottle I received.
Very disappointed with both the product quality and customer service.

We purchased some gifts for our daughter from a varna mall branch , unfortunately one of the products was empty , we sent emails to there contact and they haven't responded what so ever ...
Super disappointed, totaly non professional, we will never purchase from them again .

Shopping without refund terrible customer service
I ordered things for 250 euros via their website site. I picked up from their Koln hauptbahnhof branch. As i am not a German citizen i asked for tax free.They said they have no idea about tax free and i should contact the customer service. When i reached out to them , they asked me to provide kind of a declaration document (which i checked online as they e mailed me in german ,it is for commercial purposes) with invoice to post their address. I told them it is ridiculous as i bought those products for my personal use and it is my right to get refund. They just kept telling me same thing nothing further. The employees at the branch and customer service are not educated. I checked with the customs office while leaving the country and they told me the same. All i need was a tax free form. I did not get any refund for this terrible shopping experience.
