I am waiting for a package that should arrive 2 days ago at alza box (meaning that they do not need any address, or to call me for the right time to deliver)

I would never use DPD
I would never use DPD. I do’t use them normally but this time it was horrific exprience. I have changed the delivery address 24hrs before the delivery date. The next day I received a call from the courier informing that he is delivering the package and claims that he still sees the initial address then proceeded to hang up the phone. To be honest It’s not his fault as it could be a system error. So I hope they will improve their tracking system for better. Plus the the customer service never answers the phone it is just repeated AM.
Never use DPD
Never, ever use this company for deliveries. I have been waiting for 4 days and each day nothing arrives. I have just been told it has been delivered to another address as the address has been changed by someone else, not me!! Then got told nothing they could do, my problem now! How is someone else able to change the address for my order, even though I have emailed them 3 times with the correct address!! I will never used them again and I recommend others avoid them at all costs!

This is the second time I have had goods shipped via DPD.
Both times they were delivered to the wrong place.
This time the goods are over a week late and at box in the wrong part of Prague.

Courier just brought my ordered goods on the ground on the busy street and go away so I was unable to review and reject the order (their standard procedure requires my signature). Customer service said they will call another courier for free but then just redirected me back to the store support.

Awful. My experience is the same as others here. Apparently they tried to deliver the package three times. I work at home, we have a doorbell, so if they had attempted to deliver it I would have heard it.
No information for two weeks. I call customer service, press '0' for English. I press '0' and get through to an operator who 'doesn't speak English'. A very rude woman who made it clear I was to blame that the package wasn't delivered...
The package is on the way back to the sender, still on the way after a month.
I will be sure to tell and pay the sender to use a proper courier, never DPD.
2 terrible experiences
On two occasions, I have sent gifts to Czech Republic through Amazon U.S. Amazon uses DPD as their carrier in the Czech Republic. The first time, DPD said they tried to deliver on the expected delivery date, when the recipient was at home waiting for the package, but DPD apparently never knocked on the door. They were supposed to try delivery again on the next business day, but they never returned. After a week, the recipient went a local DPD office, and retrieved his package. It had just been sitting there! They never called him, never re-attempted delivery, and they didn't enter tracking information into their system, so it was just by luck he went to the right office.
Now I am struggling with another Amazon shipment that went to DPD Czech Republic. The package cleared customs Dec. 1. It was supposed to be delivered Dec. 5. It was not delivered. The address in their system is correct, and they have the recipient's phone number.
It is now Dec. 17. I am very angry and frustrated--the package contains Christmas presents for children. I have no idea where they have put the package. DPD did not enter any tracking information, except for an undated note that says, "the package was handed to DPD." I have tried contacting customer service via email, but they have not answered. I am thoroughly disgusted with their "service."

I don't have my name on the door bell, so I have provided my telephone number to my order. The courier didn't even try to call me and I got an e-mail saying that my shipping details are wrong or smth instead.
I called the customer service and asked for the number of the courier, so I could call him back. He picked up the call the first time and after few seconds he hung up. I called him again and he hung up again.
Is it so hard to call the customer before the delivery? They do it in PPL and it works. Why DPD are such amateurs?

They told me a time window in which they will come for a package, I see the van at the street but before I come down with the package the driver dissappears without even getting out of the van. Two days in a row! This is ridiculous!

The worst experience ever. I will never send a package by DPD. They did not deliver package to drop off point. Always some problem. We changed a delivery address and they still tried to deliver package to old address. We were waiting for 3 hours to pick up our parcel from depo, and then they said it was already on the way to drop point. And they still did not deliver. Total mess!!!

Racist deliveryman i'm an Asian, his face when looking at me was some kind of hatred or something but i don't even mind these dumbass white people, when i forgot to bring enough money i told him to wait me about 10 secs for me to get the money, he instantly said to me "ty vole" towards my face and f-cking drives away and not even let me finish my payment, young whites Czech, really cool delivery brand, worst company i've ever seen, i recommend using some other brands like DHL or else but not this garbage.

This is the worst courier company in Czech Republic. I have had so many issues with them because the sender forgot to write my mobile number on the package. The address is correct, my name is on the letterbox and I am home and they don’t bother ringing the bell because they don’t have a mobile number. They never pick up the phone when I try to call them to add my number and their server always show as unavailable so I can’t enter my number online either. I had quite a few parcels returned to the sender as a result. The most frustrating experience I have ever had with delivery services and I can’t avoid them as the sender choose the courier.
