Helpful, responsive, very competitive prices

Dave at DPSB was extremely helpful and responsive when I was going through the process of buying a new printer. Gave me a great quote and was keen to win my business. Based on my experience I will definitely be buying from them in the future.

Service this good is hard to find.

I would like in particular to single out Andy Wright who has given me a level of service which one could only call exemplary. His patience and attention to detail and the customer is first rate. Much appreciated. Six stars.

Our company recently purchased a HP Printer/paper/ink and extended warranty. Andy Wright gave excellent customer service. I was kept informed of when I would receive the delivery down to the exact hour. Andy also followed up to see we were happy with our purchase!!
We are happy with the printer....just need to put it to the test!!

Outstanding Customer Service and After-Care

After hitting a brick wall with Epson, we reached out to our initial purchase contact, Dave Harrison from DPSB, who has shown nothing but professionalism and excellence in customer care towards us. Thank you to DPSB, even outside of warranty, we have been assisted and reassured through a repair solution, with our hands held throughout the process.

We initially purchased our product through DPSB in 2019, which again was a silky smooth process with DPSB going above and beyond to assist us in ensuring we were making the right decision. Still, 5 years later, we have been shown full respect and continue to receive outstanding customer satisfaction.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending or purchasing through DPSB again in the future.

Reliable great service

Ordered EPSON projector and it arrived within days after placing the order. Received an initial acknowledgement e-mail from Dpsb confirming my order, and after sales help on registering the product's guarantee. Would recommend Dpsb and extremely pleased with the service received - thank you.

I’ve bought all my fine art paper for printing my art work through Dpsb for quite a few years. They are often the best value especially when you factor in the free postage (which also covers Northern Ireland unlike many places). The delivery takes a wee bit longer when it’s selected as a free option, however it’s still pretty fast considering. I would highly recommend Dpsb! Great company to deal with.

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague, I bought a large scale printer over a month ago, I have contacted support (and Daniel Spooner/Gary Crawley) on the phone and email over 7-10 times to buy a few 36" printer rolls and they completely ignore your emails and when you speak to someone on the phone they never return your calls, shocking customer services!

>>Response to Ileen
Hi Ileen

I received your Trustpilot which still doesn't resolve my issue with you guys!

All I did is I bought a printer from you and wanted to buy some 30m rolls, Dan mentioned he can send some samples if I wanted to which I agreed, 4 weeks later still waiting.

I asked him to send me the price of a 36" roll gloss vinyl so I can make a purchase anyway and I got ignored. I then followed this up via a call and I never received feedback.

Telling me you guys are busy for those 3 days for an exhibition it is not acceptable as I have been calling and emailing for over a month!

If Dan didn't want to speak to me or send me the samples and quotes that's fine just let the customers know!

Then I decided to email Gary (which previously spoke to once), he again ignored my emails.

It just feels like you guys are very quick to sell a printer and do not give a c**p about aftercare and further consumable sales.

Very disappointing
Alex

Dear Alex,

We are very sorry to read you were disappointed with the service you received from DPS recently, however we are grateful for your feedback as we always strive to improve.

Unfortunately, the samples you are requesting are difficult to source and we have only been able to send samples when we receive them from our supplier. Hence the delay and limited quantity.

From our investigations of the events resulting in your review, we agree that our communication with you was limited and had not met your expectation. We can only apologise for this, as we take pride in our customer and after sales service, we aim to be professional and helpful. We understand the importance of maintaining regular communication and we did lapse on this occasion.

Your e-mail correspondence with us coincided with a particularly busy time for the team as we were exhibiting at The Photography Show at the NEC from 16th to 19th March. We hope you appreciate that these events use a lot of staff resource, both before and after the show, which means that business is inevitably interrupted.

We have also looked at the other 2 reviews on Trust Pilot - one from July 2017 and one from March 2018. It is rare that we have negative reviews, but we understand your frustration and the inconvenience caused.

Our main source for reviews/feedback is eKomi - https://www.ekomi.co.uk/review-dpsbusiness.html. We are proud to have over 1300 (97.75%) positive reviews from customers on eKomi, so hopefully that gives a better portrayal of our company in general.

What we will do, is work harder to improve our communication via the live chat, e-mail and phone and inform customers if there are any reasons which may delay our response time.

Hopefully, this addresses your concerns, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel this is not fully resolved.

We value all our customers and hope that you will have the confidence to order from us again in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Poor after sales service

I bought An Epson p5000 printer off DPSB which cost me around £1500. I went to use the machine and found it had a fault. So I called them, they have no technical department that could help me and gave me a number for Epson that never connected. I also emailed them a few times and called them explaining my problem, they never replied to my emails. I tried for 2 weeks to sort the machine out trying different things to get the paper feed to work. As I kept getting 'paper feed error'
In the end one of their competitors Colourbyte who I bought the roll of film off helped me out by talking me through the problem and then gave me the right information to resolve my problem as we couldn't fix it - They told me to email Epson Technical dept and I did and now I have an engineer coming tomorrow, 2 days later.
Why didn't DPSB tell me this in the first place? They wasted 2 weeks of my time. No after service and no communication. Poor effort!

Dear Sir

Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear of the issues you've had.

I've had a look into this all for you. Following your initial contact with my colleague Dan, my other colleague David Harrison started to look into this all for you, David was the person who dealt with your order for the Epson printer originally.

Unfortunately, due to a bereavement in the family, David had to leave the office suddenly and was then away for a few days which is why it got missed I'm afraid.

I'm sorry to hear you had trouble getting in touch with Epson Support, I've copied a support link below for you in case you'd like to bookmark it for future use. When David did start looking into this for you before he had to leave, the printer is certainly capable of printing on the media so it seems like an issue with the sensors. It's under warranty so I'm sure the Epson engineer will get it all sorted out for you.

David is now back in so anything we can help with, please feel free to contact David or myself.

Kind Regards,
Gary

Dear Sir
I am very disappointed and sorry to hear of your experience on this order. I have looked into the circumstances and can only apologise that the communication from our side on this occasion was not better. By way of explanation and not an excuse, please find below some additional information as to the background here from your contact at DPS, Daniel Spooner:

There is unfortunately a Canon shortage nationwide on these inks, and we had to wait for stock to come in which should have been better communicated at the time of your online order. We’ve noticed that you ordered some paper in the meantime which arrived next day, and purchased the printer from us originally which you’ve previously stated that you are happy with. Unfortunately on this specific order, we were restricted by a delay in the manufacturers shipping timelines and produced a full refund on the order when requested.

If you wish to contact me personally about this matter, please email mpatel@dpsb.co.uk with a number and time to call and I would be happy to call you to clarify anything.
