We don't use trust pilot we use Reviews.io and have over 2800 reviews https://www.reviews.co.uk/company-reviews/store/www.thedreambikecompetition.co.uk History: A brief history if this is your first time entering... I started these competitions (As raffles) back in September 2016 To promote my main business Southcoast Suspension the-grant-fox-interview.html And I raffled off a Fox 36 fork, and then a dhx2 shock. It quickly grew and we did a few more using the raffle format! (We had my daughter picking numbers from a bucket!) Then we switched over to the competition style in January/February 2017. (As nice as the raffles where they couldn't legally continue) I had always wanted to do a competition for a complete Dream bike, something I had thought of several years previous. And I'm super chuffed its got this far. Fox

Absolutely outstanding site.

Absolutely outstanding site.
Been entering competitions on this site for the past couple of years, always reasonable ticket prices and with much more favourable odds than most similar sites.
Won back order credit a couple of weeks ago, then the pinnacle winning the august 2025 dream bike competition.
Grant that runs it is the nicest guy, could easily spend hours chatting with him, instead of taking the bike I opted for the cash alternative, had money in my bank account less than 48 hours later.
Really doesn't get much better than this!!!

Amazing competition

Amazing competition. I have won it a few times, little items and then i won the bike... I think the odds of winning are awesome. Grant is a great guy, who is a biker, so understands what people want to win. From at little as 9p sometimes you can enter competitions to win tyres, lights, brakes and lots of other bike stuff. Prizes are delivered fast and sometimes by Grant himself. Nothing to loose, get entering and get winning.

Great competition

Great competition. Won in July had the choice of colour and chose a newly released colour which took 4 months to arrive (was worth the wait). Grant was great throughout (even with my badgering about the time to arrive etc ( totally out of his hands and down to Santa Cruz delivery times)
Would definitely recommend and will continue to play.

I have been entering the DBC comps for a while, finally won something !

I have been entering the competitions on Dream Bike Competition for a while now and eventually I won a complete exposure light set and a Hope jacket. Grant who runs this competition is a top bloke, friendly and gets prizes out swiftly and follows up with a message or phone call to make sure everything had arrived in good order. All I can say is that this is a genuine competition and if you never buy a ticket, you will never stand a chance of winning anything so if you can, give it a go as you never know! Good luck!

ABYSMAL ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS

Today I had a problem with the Dream Bike Competition website:

After receiving an email from dreambikecompetition.co.uk about the latest competitions, I went online and decided to enter some. To do so, I needed to top up the cash in my account, using the client's Viva Wallet cohort.

I authorised the sum of £6.00 to be debited. However, the website debited the same sum of £6.00 three times, thus totalling £18.00, which I had not authorised. This total of £18.00 was confirmed in my website balance, plus the residual amount that was already there.

I immediately contacted the administrator by online form and email, as I was concerned about such unauthorised debits being made (all with the same reference number).

I was not believed by the administrator and he tried to blame me for making errors. This is not the case. I am a member of other such sites and I am very much familiar with how client transactions work. I am also accustomed to this having run my own companies since 1983.

The administrator, Grant, kept trying to blame me, even after I sent him the screenshots from his own website, which confirmed everything that I said: they showed the three separate debits of £6.00 each and each with the same reference number.

Even with this evidence, he would not concede what had happened and repeatedly denied that there was a problem or that the money had been taken. If there was no problem, and the money had not been taken, then why was the site showing a balance of £18.00 instead of £6.00 and why was it showing three separate debits of £6.00 instead of the one.

Grant repeatedly attempted to telephone me despite my asking him to contact me via email. I am disabled and have difficulty using phones but the Equality Act 2010 means as little to the administrator as does financial prudence and customer assurance.

I was careful to make entries on the website for prizes using no more than the £6.00 that I had authorised. And I asked for the unauthorised sum to be refunded to me.

Alarmingly, the administrator's response was to continue to blame me, and now he has advised me that he has cancelled my orders (without consulting with me first), refunded the £6.00 top-up that I had authorised today (though it is not appearing in my bank account), and closed my account, but he has not refunded the balance of credit that I already had prior to adding the £6.00. He has also forbidden me to use the website and has blocked my email address from contacting him or the company to seek rightful redress.

How am I meant to obtain the outstanding credit balance that I had with this company?

For a man who said on the telephone that he does not want things going sour, he has utterly curdled this relationship. Suspending my account, when I am not in the wrong is not only dubious but obfuscates any ability of me to check my account. It is a good job that I already took the screenshot to prove what I attested.

In Grant suspending my account, it prevents me from leaving a review on his preferred partner review site, Reviews.io. Hey ho! he can't block honest reviews on the most trusted review site, Trustpilot.

Grant Fox has not refunded to me the residual amount in my account with them and as he has now blocked my emails and access to the account I have no means of asking for the refund of what is rightfully mine.

I cannot commend this company at all on account of such abysmal service and attitude.

Hello, DR JOHN MICHEAL RICHARDS DSc MA DipEd
(he/him/his/other/anything is fine, really🏳️‍🌈)

First off it appears that even after explaining it several times to you now, you are still confused between an online transaction for real money and website credit!

I will add I never repeatedly phoned you it was in fact only twice!

In short this is what happened

You topped up your account this morning with £6 and an error occurred and you had £18 credited not debited from your bank account but credited to your website wallet

You sent me a screen shot of your account on our website, Not a screen shot of your bank account Being charged 3 times £18 in total! But of your website wallet being credited £18!

"I authorised the sum of £6.00 to be debited. However, the website debited the same sum of £6.00 three times, thus totalling £18.00, which I had not authorised. This total of £18.00 was confirmed in my "website balance", plus the residual amount that was already there."

But I can see you only paid us £6 and this was credited to your top up wallet and this error has some how added £12 extra making it £18 in total

This error was never blamed solely on you, What I did say is that most errors in our experience are user errors

But like I have said several times,

WE ONLY HAVE THE ONE PAYMENT TRANSACTION FROM YOU!!! FOR £6 NOT £18

in-between emails You spent £5.62 of the £6

And as the website administrator, I rightly removed the £12 extra website credit you we're not supposed to have.

Simple problem resolved!

But no, You deemed this act as fraudulent! Its not, you received website credit you shouldn’t have and I removed it.

you continued on to then call me arrogant and now abysmal!

And you wonder why I then refunded you your £6 and blocked you from playing with us!

Further more any website credit accured is credit (Dream bike points) for use on our website only! They have no monetary value.

Amazing guy and great website.

First thing I would like to say, if you think his a scam( like a previous comment) Follow his Facebook page @ Dream Bike Competition.
You'll see lots off live videos that can't be faked.

Honestly I sat on the side as I've always thought these websites were a bit funny I watched the live videos for months before I started joining in.
And I've now been playing for a few months.
Yes I haven't won a bike but I have won a bike tool and some store credit.

Foxy does amazing job, and like any other raffle/lottery it's always a chance, you could win, you could lose.
I love this website and love the weekly live videos

Seems like there are few winners that won multiple times. Also last van draw was won by previous winner and seem to be Foxys mate. Coincidence? Few thousand people bought tickets and lucky winner was a prevoius winner, what a lucky guy.

The winner of the competition in question was won by our very first winner from February 2017. And I have remained in contact with him since! It doesn't mean he's not allowed to enter! And he's not the only previous winner to win again. And tbh Pinning all your hopes of starting up your own business on "Winning" a van is not really a great idea. You've played with us for almost a year and just because I'm mates with a previous winner! Warrants a negative review! hmm.

Waste of money!

It is not made clean that there is only 3 prizes won. It should be a draw per prize, not just one spin for everything. After watching the draw I was left almost speachless at how bad the draw was. Waste of money.

Hi, I think you'll find its very prominent on our website how our draws work. But hey! We can't be held responsible! If you're not going to read our "How it Works" our "Faq's" or even read our T&C's all of which have, how the draw works.

Foxy isn’t getting it?

Grant I don’t think you are or want to grasp the concept of not good value for money. I know you had 72 prizes and only 1 winner and 2 cash runners up for one of the prizes only. But what happens to all the cash generated from selling tickets for the other 71 prizes please tell me? I have now moved to another prize site that has a weekly winner for every prize and seems a lot more transparent with what they do. If people are happy having one chance in 3 for one of 72 prizes let them crack on. Something seems very fishy to me I may be wrong but I’m entitled to my opinion and everyone else can decide for themselves. But the cash generation for tickets for the 71 prizes must be massive!!

I think your not getting it Garry, As I don't get your reply, If you knew how our competitions work, then you must know that some weeks we have a high value prize won from the line up and others we can have a low value prize being won! That difference is called profit! If you think we are not good value then that is up to you, But our tickets start at 19p with the most expensive being £3.49p (excluding our van competition). The DBC was and still is supposed to be a small punt. With a regular draw, And we have been doing it since 2016 with plenty of winners all over the UK.

Grant Fox

Lost tickets.

I have been purchasing tickets for a while now,but on logging in and checking my orders it seems to have missed my last few tickets but had taken the money out of my account. I have left an email and although they say they have received my query and would get back to me I have heard nothing.

If you have any doubts, don't as genuine as it gets and Mr Fox is brilliant too!
