Outdoor Driade covers is waste of money. Driade service is unacceptable
I bought Driade covers for the Roly Poly chairs that are placed outside. The covers were advertised as UV-, water-, and mold-proof. When the product arrived, I left it outside for one night, and it rained for one hour. In the morning, I found the covers soaking wet and with big yellow stains. When I complained, Driade said it’s not recommended to leave the covers outside and that I need to bring them to the dry cleaners now. I was shocked, to be honest.
First, Driade advertised the fabric as water-, mold-, and UV-proof. Therefore, I find the comment about keeping it inside when it rains unacceptable. If I had the possibility or wanted to always bring the fabric inside when it rains, I would not have bought a water- and mold-proof one.
Second, I am not sure it is appropriate to suggest dry cleaning the fabric, which turned yellow after a single rain.
Overall, I think the quality of the product absolutely doesn’t match what is written about it on the website, and it’s extremely disappointing. In the end, it was a waste of money. After one night, the product is a waste. Considering it’s expensive and the company is well known, it’s extremely disappointing.
