I booked a car with Carjet who hired the car from Drivalia When we got to the Drivalia office e they said they didn’t have the car in and we would have to pay from an upgrade. We refused and said we would go elsewhere because they had done the same thing to us before After cancelling the car hire we noticed they were still advertising the same size car. We are still waiting for a refund from Carjet from for 5 weeks because they are saying they have not had any correspondence from Drivalia to say we didn’t take the car Absolutely cons trying to make you upgrade a lot of money for a better car and advertising a smaller car. I only wanted it because my car was in the garage. Will not be using them again UPDATE. And their reply says it all. Not bothered standard reply nothing to do with the situation. Absolute cons

To ensure we can manage vehicle availability for all our customers, we adhere to the following policy:
• Grace Period: We hold bookings for a maximum of 2 hours during branch opening hours. If you are going to be late, we ask that you notify the branch of your estimated arrival time.
• Vehicle Hold: We can only hold a specific booked vehicle for a maximum of 1 hour past the booked collection time. After this point, clients may be offered an alternative vehicle category (subject to availability), and charges may apply.
• Failure to Collect: Customers who fail to arrive on the day of collection are marked as a ‘No Show’ and charged up to 3 days rental. Please note that prepaid bookings are non-refundable.
If you require any further information regarding your booking or this process, please contact us through the Manage My Booking portal on the Drivalia.co.uk website.

Great guys - ordered last minute like 11pm night before for 8am next day (Saturday too!). Car was sorted promptly, and even cleaned my bike so I could return home on it nice and clean. Super friendly staff
