Absolute nightmare. Found a car online, they told me I was approved so I went by Lyft to the dealership to fill out the paperwork and pick up the vehicle on Friday. Although I had bank statements from August, September and October, was refused the vehicle because I didn't bring the November statement. I asked Drive Time to hold the vehicle and they refused, then had to pay for a Lyft back home. Called and made appointment to return Monday, took another Lyft over only to be told they had sold the car we were trying to buy. They then brought out a vehicle with over 88,000 miles on it. Cash only then took my bank statement for "verification"(?) and then disappeared in the back for several minutes. When he was told we were leaving, he snapped at my brother and was rude to me when he came out and told me the 88,000 mile Kia was "the cheapest car in the metroplex" and any other vehicle would "be over $100" more a month than the vehicle I originally tried to buy. I refused and had to money on a fourth Lyft ride. Went in in good faith and all I got was the run around.

First I am a REAL customer, this is not a fake or BOT generated review. I purchased 2 vehicles YEARS ago thru DT when they first came to the Dallas metroplex. I’m so glad I went back. I went to the location in Plano at 1030 Central Expressway. Cash (my sales rep) and Josh (GM) were AMAZING! The process was sooooo easy! I did the pre-app online and submitted a photo of my DL thru a secure link. Everything was verified by the time I arrived the next day. Josh stayed in contact with me via text until I arrived. He wasn’t pushy, naggy or annoying like some dealerships. Cash asked me what was important to me in a vehicle, plugged the data in and the first vehicle that popped up met 99.9% of what I was looking for. I was literally in and out in under 2hrs. They even give you a check list to check EVERYTHING down to if there’s a spare tire included. Good, Bad or No credit give DT a try!!

Josh and Chris were the two worst people in life to deal with got there and the car was on flat and also wouldn’t start come to find out two front tires had a total of four nails three in one tire positive battery cable broken won’t hold charge so they tell me to call silver rock f#%* you mean they should’ve took care of that

After a week of STRESSFULLY looking for a new car(because insurance literally gave me 8 days) I have finally found something. I am so in love with this car it’s not too big and not too small, just right for what I wanted. Let me brag on my sales rep and how awesome she has made this experience for me!! She was so patient and didn’t pressure me into anything. She gave me multiple options to pick from and even explained everything to me. We did a side by side comparison of two cars that I liked, I went back and forth for several minutes and she was so sweet/understanding about it... even when I’m sure I would’ve stressed myself out. Man, it’s rare to find a sales rep in this industry who doesn’t pressure you about a sale. So, If you’re in the DFW area(Plano) and looking for a car head over and talk to Yolanda first desk to the left when you walk in!!!!! Thank Yolanda 😊

Chris sold me my car and it can always be a bit stressful. He was so patient and made sure I understood everything. And it was a stress free process.
I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sante Fe late August/early September 2023. The head unit went out in 3 weeks. Then the engine started having issues. Long story short, there’s about $9000 worth of work that needs to be done and Silver Rock is a waste of money. My car was given to me with less than 2 cups of VERY black oil in it. Now the car is barely drivable and Silver Rock is giving me the runaround. I will never purchase another vehicle from Drive Time again. They do not check the vehicles like they’re suppose to. I am now paying for a car that is probably going to stop working at any moment.

Yolanda took my initial phone call about a particular vehicle. She was courteous and very helpful. She got my pricing done in a timely fashion.
Josh, the assistant manager was very helpful and friendly as well. He made sure when I got to the dealership that the process was efficient and flawless.
Yousef, the salesman was very thorough and went over the paperwork page by page so I would have a complete understanding of what I was signing.
My only complaint was that the vehicle had been on the lot for several months, I believe, the inside was dirty and needed a thorough detailing. They staff at drive time credited me $200 though, so I could get the detailing done at my convenience. I believe detailing the inside of this vehicle should have been done before I showed up to purchase it. Drive Time Staff knew I was coming to look at the vehicle days ahead.
But all things considered. I would recommend buying a vehicle from DriveTime. This is my second vehicle I've bought from them. My first one, a Nissan Exterra, was traded in pushing 220,000 miles. Should have kept it. lol

Everyone was amazing at the Plano location. Made the process so smooth and easy. They made sure I got what I came in for.
I was getting really down and almost giving up on trying to find a vehicle because I had went to several dealerships. When I came to DriveTime it took a couple trucks to find the one I got(love it)but they helped me and kept sending me trucks. Great customer service!
