Excellent service with results that truly deliver, though patience is key for the final outcome. The process was seamless, and the remote pre-checks were incredibly helpful. A major advantage is their all-inclusive package—you simply book your flights, and the team handles everything else. At the Istanbul clinic, the staff provided exceptional support, from the initial welcome and pre-tests to the surgery and aftercare. I even had the privilege of meeting Dr. Serkan himself. Special thanks to Eda, Ece, Alice, and Emir for their outstanding service. It’s reasonably priced and absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommended!"

I feel a bit conflicted writing this review because I want to be honest, yet it’s difficult to boil the entire experience down into one short paragraph. I also wish there were an option for half stars, as I would ideally rate this a 3.5 overall.

On one hand, the staff and facilities were five stars across the board—especially Emre Şahin, who singlehandedly saved the clinic a customer when I was fully prepared to cancel. On the other hand, my experience with Dr. Serkan Aygin and Dr. Hamiloglu was closer to one-star service. No basic respectful greeting or acknowledgement of my existence, the three minutes they spent with me felt rushed and dismissive. I was barely through my third question when Dr. Aygin was already walking out the door, answering over his shoulder as he left.

I understand they are in high demand, but it seems they’ve outgrown any real personal touch with their patients. At this price point, I expected more individual attention and care, but I ultimately felt like cattle being run through a factory farm.
While I did initially like the hairline Dr. Aygin drew, it later felt pointless, as the next day another doctor drew a completely different version—one I didn’t like. I asked for adjustments, which they did make, but I was still unsure and needed more time to feel confident in the decision. Unfortunately, sensing impatience from the team, I felt pressured to go with the final version they drew, which I now regret. I’m sure it will look fine once it grows in, but I definitely wish I had gone with the other clinic I was considering.

That said, this may simply be the downside of having the procedure done in Turkey, where clinics operate at a much higher volume compared to the U.S. Just be prepared to feel like a number moving through a system.

I was also shocked to learn that post-op products were not included in the already high cost. While it’s “only” about $80, at that point it felt disappointing not to have it included—if nothing else, for convenience.

To end on a positive note, the facilities were top-notch, the staff was friendly, and the overall process was efficient. Best of luck on your journey, regardless of where you choose to go.

Last year I reached the point where I wanted to get a hair transplant. I did a ton of research. I looked in the United States — crazy expensive, and even consultations felt difficult and costly. I got close to booking in Mexico at a reputable place, but everything I kept hearing was that the technology and results coming out of Turkey were simply better.
So I kept digging and found the Dr. Serkan Aygın Clinic.
I reached out, and Mey became my direct contact. Hands down, the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
I had probably 100 questions. I didn’t know anyone personally who had flown across the world for surgery, so I wanted to understand EVERYTHING. She answered every single one — photos, process, expectations, payments, recovery, travel plans — all of it. I never felt rushed, pressured, or unsure.
Once things were in motion, Mey and the team started sending step-by-step instructions with pictures showing exactly how to meet the driver at the airport and how everything would work. Super convenient.
Driver was on time, picked us up, and took us to an amazing five-star hotel. We even had time to go explore the city before the consultation the next morning.
At the clinic, I met with the doctor, went over options, designed and agreed on the hairline, took photos, and then had the rest of the day to enjoy Istanbul. Surgery was the following morning.
The procedure took about six hours and went incredibly well. And listen — I’m a baby when it comes to pain (just ask my wife) — but I was shocked at how minimal it was.
Afterward they fed me and transported me back to the hotel.
Everything is included:
airport transfers, hotel, rides between hotel and clinic, medications, follow-ups — they have it down to a science.
The next morning I came back for the wash, got bandaged up, received my medications, and headed to the airport. I was gone a total of about four days.
Healing was smooth because I followed their instructions exactly.
Fast forward to today — one year later — and I have the hairline I had when I was 18.
I’ve referred multiple friends from the United States since then, and every single one of them has been just as happy as I am.
I am 100% satisfied.
Not one complaint.
Not one thing I would change.
I can’t thank Mey, the doctor, and the entire team enough for making everything a true 10 out of 10 experience.

I chose to do my hair transplant surgery at Dr. serkan Aygin Clinic. Generally I am very pleased with the service, everybody were very professional and friendly. My contact at the clinic was Berk Cetin who helped me through the whole process.
Although the surgery was very long and hard then the results and recovery has been just fine. If I would need do the surgery once again, I would to it in the same clinic.

Super easy. Fraction of the cost of Canada or USA. Very impressed with entire experience. The clinic and hotel is in what I would call a verbal local area as opposed to a touristy area. Very good communication from the staff entire time. Flew out Monday landed Tuesday in turkey, Wednesday consultation, Thursday surgery, 5000 grafts, Friday bandage removal, cleaning and I was back on the plane that afternoon. Painless experience, sleeping for first week sucks, I feel very good about whole experience we'll see how the hair looks in 2 years.
