Druk Asia organised our entire Bhutan trip, which included visas, flights, hotels, meals, driver/guide, and the itinerary. The planning phase was very smooth (Druk Asia really took care of everything) and so was our time in Bhutan. We loved everything and couldn't have wished for a better experience, from nature to history to culture. We can highly recommend using Druk Asia to visit Bhutan - it's a magical country!

The visa, flight and land tour arrangements were handled efficiently by Druk Asia and Soul Trips.

As we conveyed our intentions to see the Druk Wangyel Tshechu and the black neck cranes, Ugyen (Druk Asia) proposed the travel dates and an itinerary that includes visiting Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Paro and Haa Valley. However, we ended up forgoing Haa Valley and instead spectated Bhutan’s National Day celebrations at Paro arranged by our guide Dorji (Soul Trips). The Druk Wangyel Tshechu and National Day celebrations were great opportunities to interact with the local people and appreciate Bhutan’s history and culture.

We also learnt a lot about Bhutan and her people from Dorji’s stories and explanations. We saw that Bhutanese are religious, polite, respectful and hospitable. We are thankful for the patience and encouragement from Dorji and driver Sigye as they accompanied us on the challenging ascent to Paro Taktsang.

Food and accommodation were satisfactory. We enjoyed a variety of Bhutanese dishes made with local produce such as the spicy Ema Datshi (chili cheese), and non-spicy datshi (cheese) options with potatoes or mushrooms, as well as Bhutanese noodles and dumplings. Interestingly, the incidences of electrical power trips on our first night in Thimphu and last night in Paro seem to say “welcome” and “farewell” to us.

All in all, it was an enjoyable and memorable trip.

I visited Bhutan in December, and despite the winter chill, the warm hospitality of the Bhutanese people made me feel right at home, adding to the beauty of the trip!

The glamping experience was absolutely wonderful, offering a peaceful connection with nature and refreshing mornings surrounded by lush greenery.

In Gangtey, I had the chance to wear the traditional Gho, experience life as a Bhutanese at a vibrant archery event between two villages, and enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner at a farmhouse. The valley’s tranquility and lush greenery made it a day I will always cherish.

Visiting Tiger’s Nest was magical. The hike itself was rewarding, and the monastery’s serene and peaceful atmosphere left a lasting impression on me.

This trip has given me memories I will treasure forever. I had such an enjoyable time and can’t wait to return to Bhutan for more breathtaking mountain views and unique experiences!

We had the most wonderful trip. The service is fantastic. We have the best guide (Dorji Tshering) who is extremely patient with us and the best driver (Tshering Wangchok) who drove steadily, confidently and safely. Both Dorji and Tshering pampered us and yet gave us our space in this private trip. Bhutan is presented to us through them and the nation in such an awesome perspective that we started to think and plan about our next trip to this harmonious wonderland.
Druk Asia (and Soultrips) itinerary is well-planned. We have enjoyed the religious and cultural sites as well as the hikes. We appreciate the way the hikes are planned out to prepare us for the grand finale, Taktsang Monastery. The hotels arranged for us provided us restful nights with friendly staff.

Memorable trip

We are very fortunate to have Ms Tshewang as our tour guide and Mr Sigay as our driver for our entire trip in Bhutan.

Ms. Tshewang's knowledge of the temples we visited is impressive. Her hiking skills are incomparable. She is very nice, understanding, very accommodating and flexible with our new requests for food, which we want to try or places we want to go which are totally not on our itinerary.

Mr Sigay, a very well-liked friendly person, who can talk to anyone, everyone, wherever we go. An excellent, professional driver with a great attitude. We felt safe during the entire car ride with him. It was incredibly smooth, even on bumpy, narrow sections of the mountain road, thanks to his skillful handling.

This whole Bhutan trip is an eye-opening, unforgettable experience, leaving us with memories of the stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality of the local people.

Last but not least, we are very grateful to have Mr Sonam Younten as our travel specialist. We loved his great service and coordination from the start till the end.

I was planning for a trip to Bhutan with my friend and I came across Druk Asia website. Sangay had been a great help from the start of the planning. My wife and I recently went on a 7-day tour of Bhutan. Initially we were a bit concerned as to whether we would suffer from altitude and motion sickness as some of the places we were visiting reached up to 3,000 meters or more and we were physically not very fit being around 70 years old. It turned out that our worries were unfounded and we had a wonderful and enjoyable experience during our entire Bhutan tour. Our Soultrips tour guide and driver were very experienced and took good care of us and made sure that the pace of the tour would not stress us out physically. Food was good and we rounded up our tour with a unique traditional stone bath.

All staff was very welcoming and efficient. Bkk-Paro meal was excellent during the smooth flight

Your service was great but in my case at age 80 I don't think the Tiger paw monastery should have been on the list. A 3 hour climb to that place is for younger people.

Dorji’s enthusiasm and jovial nature made every day a delight. His story-telling skills are the stuff of legends! He made Buddhism and Bhutanese’s history come alive. Unfortunately, with the holes in our memory, we struggled to remember lol. He patiently explain it again and again and YES! we now remember a few. :D

Being a hiking enthusiast himself, he is familiar with the local flora and fauna. When the group encountered a difficult situation in our 1st hike, he remain calm and composed and together we managed to cross the challenge with ease.

He was very attentive to our request including thoughtful recommendation of delicious momos, various home stay lunches and dinners! He is also a great photographer who helps us captures all the memories for us to bring home. Thank you, Dorji!

After much research, I decided to go with Druk Asia to arrange for my first trip to Bhutan. I received attentive service from the get go and everything is arranged smoothly. I liked that the liaison, guide and driver are all Bhutanese who have in depth knowledge of Bhutan. Highly recommend Druk Asia!

Services all very good, very grateful for the friendly and helpful guide Tshewang and the driver Namgay. The trip was amazing because of their hard work. One star off is because the luggage was not handled well on the return trip from Bhutan to Singapore. It was all wet on the luggage case, and got a few scratches here and there.

Our guide Tashi and driver, Vincent were wonderful. Their English was excellent, they were very friendly and Tashi adapted the itinerary to our preferences each day.
What could go wrong in Bhutan? It’s an exceptionally beautiful country, both scenically and because of its people and culture.

We had a wonderful time in Bhutan. It was a memorable trip. The planning was great as it was customised based on our preference. During our 7 days trip, our guide, Ms Chencho Iham and driver, Mr Sonam Penjor were very helpful and friendly. Ms Chencho has been very helpful in providing great support to my friend during the hike as my friend is afraid of heights. Ms Chencho and Mr Sonam also went beyond their duties to help me to get a cake for my friend and they help me plan the surprise celebration which I am unable to do it without their passion and initiative. It was really a very very enjoyable holiday with their accompany and I wish to return to Bhutan again next time, visiting other parts of the country.
